Scoffed at the idea of a chiropractor
I fell down and caught myself. May have some whiplash and am sore. I asked him about seeing a chiropractor in my area and he said “they would do more harm than good “ and “wouldn’t help.” He dismissed everything and wanted to give me the weakest muscle relaxer and LITERALLY rx’d good old fashioned straight acetaminophen. Nothing with it. What a joke. We know our bodies and I know a chiropractor will help. Thanks to him, I’m out of my job for the foreseeable future. I may have to fake a miraculous recovery just so I can go back to work because he can’t refer me to a chiro and I will go see one as soon as I call him Thursday and tell him I got touched by a MFKN angel and got healed…that way I can actually get help.

The doctor makes it well known he is not there to treat you he is there to give you meds and forward you to another doctor if that's asked for, I have not had aid when I ask for it , there requests, if not done correctly, will get you flagged , and that means for 1 year that subject cant be bridged again so you must pay for things now . His NP's can be very rude going so far as to tell someone they need to look up a thing.

Dr. McKinney is a very knowledgable provider. His focus is on improving your health and often that begins with reassuring you that it's fixable. Sometimes when you are in the middle of pain you want sympathy rather than solutions. Illness is stressful and motivation gets worn down at times. Re-group, and redirect your focus. It worked with me. I'm sure he would be glad to consider your options to improving your health too. You are a team.

He does not listen to what you have to say. He will spend his time trying to tell you why your problem is not as bad as you think and why it is everything other than work related. Three weeks after my first appointment I have yet to have any test done. He is rude, arrogant and condescending to say the least! Don't expect him to have your health as his primary concern.
