Met with Dr. Marks today. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. I learned more in this appointment than I ever learned from previous physicians dealing with my breathing issues. I appreciate his kindness, attention to detail, and for also listening to my concerns. Staff was polite and efficient as well. You can go wrong with Dr. Marks.

A model for all medical care providers
I’ve encountered Dr. Marks for two different conditions in the last five years. Each time he was thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. On this latest condition, he went the extra mile, way above and beyond. He took the time to read and compare previous studies, asked me the appropriate questions, and followed up with a phone call later offering more information. You rarely find providers like this and I think he should be the model for anyone entering the clinical medicine field. If you need pulmonary care, there’s no one better.

Telehealth
Dr. Marks saved my life! I'm from Corpus with severe sleep apnea and never could get the right dr., the right machine, the right mask, or the right support. An angel at my husband's drs office woke me and asked if I had sleep apnea and gave me Dr. Marks number. After the initial and follow up visits and the sleep lab, Dr. Marks does teleconference visits. I feel great! SO worth the drive. Please make your health top priority and go see him.

This is the best doctor in San Antonio, Myself, a retired doctor, couldn't find any physicians to workup and diagnose my lung problems. As a physician I found this unbelievable. A colleague told me I should see Dr Marks. Dr Marks spent more time with me than any doctor I've known. He tediously went over tests that had been done by other doctors and found some mistakes they made. He quickly tested me and did a heart/lung catheterization on me. Turns out, I have a very serious lung problem that no other doctor recognized. His intercession, formal medical logic and clinical prowess came to bear. He saved me and got my life back on track. It was also appreciated that he is serving our country as an Active Reserve Flight Surgeon -- only adding to his heavy schedule but believing in service before self. If you have a lung problem, or trouble breathing, look no further! He easily earns 5 stars.

In my opinion based on several years getting treatment from Dr. Marks and his P.A. Mrs. Sanchez you won't find anyone better. My lungs have an 80% improvement and they have gotten the RLS I was experiencing controlled. The office staff are very friendly and professional and kiosk check in makes it simple and quick. I have used telehealth instead of office visits due to my distance from their office and founf it was very simple and the visit was through and informational. They filled all of my scripts that they handle for me and they stay on top of the issues. The best medical help is right in San Antonio Tx and the one hour drive for me one way is so worth it, plus now I use telehealth. Can it get any better than this office....NO...gr8 medical healthcare from a concerned and intelligent medical office.

Tested positive for covid in Aug and have shortness of breath and chest pain 4 months later from it. PCP referred me to this place and first it took a month to get an appointment. Finally got in to take a breathing test and was supposed to get results a week later. Was scheduled for a televisit and waited an hr on the phone for a visit and he never showed up. Called the office and it was he had an emergency. But noone could tell me that. Then rescheduled for an office visit on Nov 12. Got a call the day before saying he won't be there in the morning because he has guard duty and to call back for afternoon televisit. Called and noone answered nor called back when I left a message. I called today to get my results now saying we can get you in Dec 1st. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. If you want a Dr to see you when you are suffering from after affects of covid, please look elsewhere or you will die waiting to be seen. I wouldn't have selected this dr if it wasn't for my PCP.

Horrible! I couldn’t even get in to see the doctor. The ofc manager said I was rude and cancelled my appointments. Didn’t even have the class to call me, instead she called my GP. The ofc staff is very unprofessional, childish, and down right rude!

I just read some of the reviews here regarding Dr. Marks. I have experienced none of these concerns in my over 3 years as a patient. I love that he is upfront, honest, caring and knowledgeable. If your going to leave a complaint, please follow some rules. First learn how to spell. Second, unless your immobilized, your not getting out of jury duty. It’s your civic duty to attend and the court will grant you access to use your medical needs.

I would recommend Dr Marks in a heartbeat. One can always look elsewhere if it doesn't work out to your satisfaction, but my experience so far with him & his staff has been very good. I had no trouble making an initial appointment a year ago and have made my followup appts before leaving the office. I've also called to have a prescription changed which he ok'd the same day. He's one of the kindest medical practitioners I've ever met. He's sincere and is there because he wants to help people. He also does volunteer medical work with an international organization. He's a hard to find type of physician and I'm grateful he's there.

Just walked in utter frustration. I had my first appointment two months ago. I didn't see the doctor, which is irksome (given my $50 co-pay) but not unusual. After a very long wait, I saw the PA or whatever she is. I knew exactly what she would say because the paper-thin walls ensured I heard every word she said to the patient next door. I left with the promise they would call when I had been OK'd for a sleep study. Weeks went by, no call. I called them and was told they hadn't even started trying to get approval. More weeks, then I did the 3-night sleep study. A week later, I was informed they never got the pre-approval from my insurance so I would have to do it again. Two more weeks, and I was told they had the OK, come and get the equipment so I could do it all over again. Today when she handed me the same form I have filled out, and I was asked for the 3rd time about credit card info and my driver's license number, I walked out. I'm calling Cigna to suggest dropping this practice.

was referred by my general practitioner but never able to get through to make an appointment; they have recordings that say to leave a message, but no one ever called back. All these reviews say the doctor may be OK, but the staff is horrible. If you can't even get through to make an appointment, in my book that is terrible. Have asked my doctor for a different referral.

Would love to have Dr. Marks for my pulmonary doctor, but am unwilling to deal with his staff. No one ever answers the phone. May or not call you back. Frequently voice mail does not allow for leaving a message. If I'm in need, cannot rely on being able to get ahold of the doctor when needed. So I am forced to go elsewhere!
