Dr. David Marconi, MD

In 2023, I suddenly suffered from a condition that caused constant severe bleeding. I had a marketplace plan, but no providers could see me for 5 months. My hemoglobin hovered at 6 and multiple ER visits resulted in multiple blood transfusions and worsening conditions. I couldn't even walk, I was so fatigued. My husband desperately called dozens of providers across the state. Then he called Dr. Marconi's office. Marconi got on the phone with me that day (I could barely speak) and saw me in less than 24 hours. Over the next few months, he patiently and wisely guided us every step until my condition was cured. We cannot say enough about our gratitude.

My first visit I was extremely sick I had seen 3 dr’s prior that just wrote me off as having asthma! Dr Marconi listened to everything I said and definitely saved my life! He right away started running test that would reveal what was literally killing me! He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met. I don’t think I can say enough wonderful things about this man!

Excellent and very caring

He listens before speaking and wants to know what is going on and how he can do what is needed to help his patient. You can hear him thinking about the best course of action. He definitely makes you feel at ease and wants your input in everything. He really is a good MD.

I saw Dr. Marconi for follow-up care after being hospitalized for surgery for a broken leg I sustained while visiting Fort Myers from out-of-town. He was very thorough, took time to help problem solve several health issues (both related to the reason for my hospitalization and issues unrelated), and included me in the care planning. If I lived in Fort Myers, I would choose him to be my PCP!

I was in Roane Medical Center the week of 12/17/18 for a heart issue. I received excellent care from Dr. Marconi. He and the staff at Roane Medical were outstanding.

The experience that my family had with Dr Marconi was the worst experience we have had with a Doctor. He has absolutely no bedside manner! He spoke AT us, NOT TO us. Dr Marconi also accused myself and other family members of cancelling my moms MRI that was supposed to have been done the day before.

Dr. "Macaroni" is excellent! My husband has lived with a condition for 36 years, and because Dr. Marconi cared, he found the problem and is getting us on the right track to fixing it. He is very straight forward and thorough. We loved him! I would recommend anyone to see him. He's a GREAT doctor.
