Avoid. He was only interested in a surgical option even though it wasn't needed or recommended as per a second opinion. He added medically irrelevant information about the appointment to the medical report - unprofessional.

VERY RUDE FRONT OPFFICE STAFF
PLEASE READ THE BELOW REVIEW BEFORE YOU GO THERE.I WISHED I HAD READ THE REVIEWS ON THEM BEFORE GOING THERE.We scheduled a visit specifically to see Dr. Malis, but when we got into the waiting room, to our surprise it was not Dr. Malis who came but his nurse practitioner, the front office people never told us about that and nobody even apologized for the mistake.THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE AND DO NOT RESPECT PEOPLE'S TIME AND LIVES AT ALL.We were told the day before the surgery that they were not going to do what we agreed upon.Very rude front office manager who made a mistake and refuse to admit it her mistake. They are very unprofessional, unreliable and do not care about the consequences when they make a mistake and refuses to accommodate their patients and just rudely told us that she will send our record to someone else and hung up.

Ear Tubes
My 1 year old daughter had recurrent ear infections and got tubes in her ears. We were able to get an appointment the same week and in surgery the following week. We were so so thankful because my daughter was in pain and always sick. The surgery was such a blessing! She took her first steps shortly after her surgery. Our appointments were with a nurse practitioner who was extremely nice and helpful. At the surgery center, everyone was nice and extremely caring and explained everything to me. As you can imagine, I was very nervous for my baby. The surgery took 5 min, I barely had time to sit down in the waiting room.I detracted 1 star because the full cost of the surgery was not presented up front, only the doctors portion. It was not a good experience to get surprised later on with a bill from the surgery center. Every other surgery I’ve gotten has always educated me on what the full cost will be and how it breaks out.

Worst Dr. I’ve ever seen! Not worth the money!
Absolutely AWFUL experience!! I was referred to this dr. from my pediatrician since my insurance at the time wouldn’t cover seeing their ENT. The staff was courteous. I told Dr. Malis my concerns with my son and he was extremely condescending with me and. He was arrogant, crass and apathetic with his responses to my questions. He stated he refused to do the tonsillectomy on my child because I did not get the sleep study done (which was $1500 out of pocket for me) and about the complications of the procedure. Now I understand about being precautious about the procedure and possible complications but the tone of the whole appointment with him ($280 out of pocket mind you) was just appalling. There was absolutely no justification for him to have treated me and my child so poorly. Would not recommend, 0/10 will never go back or refer ANYONE with a child that needs help to see him. Go to Nemours where you’ll actually get the help you need and be treated like a human being.

Awful ARNP Toni Malloris. My 15 month old son had tubes put in his ears after the suggestion of Toni. He had recurrent ear infections and chronic sinus congestion. The tubes are amazing at helping his ear infections. On a follow up visit it was advised he also needs his adenoids removed. We were advised by my child's pediatrician that the adenoids and tubes are usually done together to prevent having to go under anesthesia twice. When I asked toni about this at the follow up appt her response was that they missed it the first time around and that shes "sorry she isnt perfect, shes human makes mistakes". A completely preventable second surgery for my child under 2. The worst part is, after I informed my pediatrician...she stated she is no longer referring patients here because she is getting tons of complaints from patients about them. Would definitely not recommend this ENT office

I am so sad that Dr. Malis has such poor reviews. He was WONDERFUL. My appt was at 1 and at 1:14 he popped his head in to tell me he would be with me shortly, and was right back. My two month old son needed a lip and tongue tie revision. He was quick, efficient, and right to the point. Also very kind. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM and his staff to anyone and I will go back to him for any other issues with this kiddo and future kiddos.

Dr Malis , is a completely waist of time. I will not recommend this Dr at all . I brought my mom because she was bleeding from both ears and nasal pressure . He did not prescribe anything to her. Just said to visit her primary dr. So disappointed on his lack of knowledge and lack of patient commitment. Please do not support this type of “Dr” .

Can't say much about the doctor. However, the front desk staff was horrible. The office opens @ 8am, my daughter had an 8am appointment, we were 24 mins late due to an accident that forced us to take a detour. We called the office and explained that we would be a little late because of the accident. When we got there, the lady at the desk told me that "we would have to reschedule". I asked if she had anything available for today? Her reply was that she can reschedule us for a date in June.... "

All of our experiences with this office have been negative. My Daughter was referred by her Orthodontist to follow up on some potential issues. When her Orthodontist asked why they didn’t send them a report back, we found out it was sent to the wrong Dr. Dr. Malis was friendly at first but was short on patience when she asked about the black instrument he was holding. She freaked out because she is only 11. He said “If she grabs it and breaks it, that is $10,000. Horrible with children!

The most arrogant Doctor I have ever experienced in my life. Cut you off when you asked a question. Accused patient of not getting his story straight with his symptoms. Didn't even exam patient whatsoever. I asked about an x-ray to see how bad it was broken and he basically said why bother. Offered no relief to patient who was suffering. Only option he gave patient was "I could fix it with surgery for cosmetic look" $213.48 waste of money!

IFF (if and only if) your sinuses close up when you lay down to sleep with your head turned, such that you have to sleep with your back elevated on a pile of pillows, holding your head up, talk to him about getting the coblation turbinoplasty. Sticking a needle 4 times into each of your turbinates and burning them using heat sounds scary, but really was outpatient. It changed my life. I still have to go to sleep elevated, but can recline my head now later at night, for the first time in years.

We came to Dr. Malis from an orthodontist referral. He had horrible bedside manner and wouldn’t even listen to my son, who was voicing his issues. I felt like he was doing what the orthodontist had suggested on his referral and completely ignored real ENT problems. Don’t waste your time here....

I've had chronic sinusitis for the last 3 years. My first visit he immediately started to work on identifying the cause for my condition, suggesting viable causes that other ENTs never mentioned. I'm now being tested for those conditions and hope to have a cure soon. Great bedside manner.

Please do not let any negative reviews of Dr. Malis discourage you from seeing him. I had a balloon sinuplasty done by him, and both he and his staff were amazing. He is an extremely nice guy and answered all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable in what he does, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an ENT doctor.

This doctor's office is not to be trusted! They run up bills without fulfilling the services they charge for. When questioned on their charges, which were inconsistent, their attitude is "too bad" that is what we charge. I received charges for three doctor visits and I never saw a doctor. And, they never accomplished what they charged for. I had two visits to try to remove wax from my ears (which they failed at both times) and charged $550. I've canceled my third appt. What a rip-off.
