Dr. David Lujan, DO

We love Dr. Lujan. We have been seeing him for about 4 years and he really understands my son and spends alot of time with us when we have med checks.

After calling the office and explaining it was hard to get ahold of the doctor, we get a message from the butt hurt doc that my son was getting dropped as a client.What professionalism.

Dr. Lujan has always gone the extra mile for me.

Dr. Luna has always been very professional, easy to talk with and willing to listen. Because of his office set up, it may be a little more time consuming to set up appointments but he has always responded quickly with flexible options for scheduling. I'm impressed with his background and experience. He has always listened and provided alternatives. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Lujan has been a very calm listener in our visits. He seems to keep good records from the past visits and will bring up where we left off. He had always been accommodating when I book an appointment. Yes he has a 7 day window for turn around of Rx. But, if you request your meds ahead of the scheduled fill date he will make sure it is done.

Made my appointment for a Saturday, only to receive a call from him stating his in-law in another state had a heart attack and he needed to reschedule. I happily rescheduled to Monday and told him I hope all was well. He then emailed me on Thursday and asked if we could now do Friday. When I showed up on Friday, he immediately confused me with another patient he stated he had for the next day although he had initially told me he would be out of town. He totally misdiagnosed me, and cared more about my paperwork then my own words. Was stuck in his office for an hour an forty minutes to be told a number of insults and then be given a sticky note with medications for me to research and email him back which one I wanted. Along with this, the bill was insane and even when I stated I would not be seeing him again and I do NOT want medication from him, he never changed the bill price although not getting medications is less money than getting them. I will not be paying him, he sucks.

Dr Lujan is a true professional. It does not get much better than him.

This “doctor” is so unprofessional!!! Liked him at first, seemed nice.... until I requested him complete paperwork for my employer. He never answers his phone, his voicemail box is always full, and it takes him a ridicilous amount of time to respond to emails. The email I received from him today was so beyond unprofessional, I had to do a double take. I’m not even sure how he is still practicing. WHY HAVE I WASTED SO MUCH TIME WAITING FOR THIS DOCTOR TO SIMPLY DO HIS JOB!?!? Beyond frustrated!

FINALLY, an answer to a desperate prayer! My long time psychiatrist retired months ago, & I have had NO ONE to turn to for continued help with my depression. I found him to have excellent listening skills, was compassionate & caring. He is "genuine", kind, soft-spoken, knowledgeable. I was SO happy that my 1st visit went as well as it did---because, in truth, I had no idea what to expect. So happy to have this doctor as part of my health care team.

You can email him and call until you’re blue and he will not respond. Voice mailbox is always full. You can never leave a message. Does not respond to emails. He wants 7 days to write a refill Rx. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I read some pretty bad things about him but still went. Very bad idea. I have left 5 messages in 4 weeks and no returned calls. Left me with terrible problems until I found someone to help. Never ever is a doctor to leave a patient without these meds. It is very dangerous to do so. What about do no harm also? It is an oath. He cares less. I have a bill I shall refuse to pay because of this poor treatment. Do not waste your time. Shame.

Doesn't return calls or emails in a timely manner. Had to go to the ER TWICE because of medication withdrawal due to this. Then when I went to my physician to have my prescriptions transferred away from this lunatic, he lied to my physician about the medication to try to force me back to him. I simply fired him and stopped taking the meds all together.

15+ minutes late, speaks poorly about other patients, instructs you not to call him bc he is always on the go, he specifically advises to EMAIL him, research which RX you'd like to start & he will call in RX after and email back to make next appt. Ok, I've never been asked to do this, BUT I'm open to it if it's easier for him.......ITS BEEN ONE MONTH, NO RESPONSE. I've emailed multiple times, NOTHING. This site won't give me enough space to write everything! NEGLECTFUL, CRIMINAL, STAY AWAY.

Initially I really liked Dr. Lujan but quickly it became apparent that he lacks office support and cannot get basic things done. Like calling in prescriptions on time or responding to any emails or phone calls. Either that or he is receiving the many emails, phone messages and just ignoring me. Either way this is completely unprofessional and negligent. I agree with the other reviewers who had to deal with this doctor just to get refills. So very frustrating.

Dr luan is a joke. He never filled my scripts on time. He also made me cry in sessions very rude and uncaring. Its been three years and he will not release my notes to ssa or myself..i hope he loses his license.

Never returns calls. Cancels on you, then has the nerve to send you a missed appointment bill. Then when you call to reschedule, he yells at you claiming you threatened him, and calls you entitled. After my next appointment I will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

Horribly unorganized liar. Can't keep an appointment, lives in his own time zone, and doesn't return phone calls. Find another Dr if you really need help.

Not so good he makes me feel very uneasy. I came there for help and he makes me feel worse. Never returns a phone call getting a prescription is nearly impossible. I've gone without my medications for close to a week I was literally sick. Unfortunately I stoped going to him found a much better doctor that cares.
