THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE!
I am a 78 year old widow and I had Dr. Lichtinger as my Primary Physician for almost five years and he just released me as a patient for no valid reason!! You are expected to contact his office BEFORE you go to an Urgent Care facility, a Hospital or Emergency Room. Twice, I have had adhere to this absurd rule! Both times I phoned his office and advised them of the situation. Both times were emergencies that I let him know about. A recent trip to the ER and a CT scan of my lungs showed a large mass on my left lung! I have always been the perfect patient and never cancelled or missed any appointments! I was released from the hospital at 8:30 P.M on a Friday night and his letter releasing me was dated on Monday. It was delivered to me by USPS, certified with signature requested! Reason: Noncompliance! I have prescriptions that he refused to refill and I am sure I will be in a long search for a new primary care doctor! What kind of a physician would to this?

Do your homework before selecting this provider
Very unprofessional and did not accurately treat my mother. Please find an alternate provider and read all the reviews and ask around before selecting this provider.

Beware - highly NOT recommend
This man “cared” for my MIL for almost 30 years as her primary care provider. We came to find out she never had a mammogram and when she detected a mass she was referred to a dermatologist for a consult! We intervened and got her to an oncologist (stage three breast cancer). During a recent hospital admission he yelled at her, threatened her about paying for all the care, and would not discharge her after every specialist cleared her to leave the hospital. Unfortunately, I can’t rate him as zero stars.

Absolutely the greatest doctor.
Everybody is so nice and they care about you. He takes his time with you even tells jokes and is very friendly. I don't know where some of these people went but it sure couldn't have been to this doctor cuz he's great.

Drops patients regularly
Dropped my mom from his practice while my mom was recovering from surgery at the hospital. Never notified. Mom has been with him for 10plus years. Did everything the doctor or PA asked of her. He doesn’t care for his patients if you ask me. What kind of person kicks out a 79 year old lady while she’s recovering from surgery.

Highly Recommend
I am a health care provider who has been a patient of this office for 15 years. Prescribing is reasonable and appropriate. I have recommended several family and friends over the years who have had great experiences as well. Practice is in high demand so little room for missed appointments or late arrivals. That’s fine with me as I’m always seen on time.

Avoid this Doctor
The staff isn't friendly, he doesn't listen, wants to prescribe pills for malady. He's not friendly and very arrogant. Save yourself time and grief, don't come here. I'm through. This is a very incompetent practice from the physician down to those who answer the phone.

Terrible Doctor horrible bedside manor
Ive been going here for three years and the service gets worse. All this physician wants to do is prescribe a pill for everything. When I didn't want to do that he became very angry, raised his voice, crossed his arm and told me to tell him what I wanted him to do. He is very arrogant. He isn't good enough to be arrogant and is mediocre at best. Today I had enough. He can practice his non medical skills on someone else. I will find a competent physician who knows how to treat patients without prescribing pills for every scenario.

I am one of these men that will not go to a doctor unless I'm in pain and taking an aspirin won't make it go away I don't like going to doctors I never go to doctors however when I have had problems in the past I've been going to this doctor for over 25 years I don't take any kind of medication whatsoever I'm 71 however with this doctor when he prescribed something I will take it until the pain goes away then I stopped taking whatever he prescribed to me 99% of the time it all turns out to be fine I would trust this doctor with my life my wife also goes to him. Good doctor but sometimes has firm practices which make it very inconvenient for his patients. When confronted with this issue his staff simply says “that’s the way he does it” so tough.

Dr Lichtinger is quite astute at diagnosing whatever your problem is. He then explains it thoroughly so that you fully understand and asks repeatedly if you do before he leaves you. His staff is friendly & thoroughly professional. His office also provides most services you could need, ie blood-draw, EKG, stress test, etc. unless your insurance demands something else. We’ve Been patients for about ten yrs. & will not leave him. And we have gotten 7+ more patients for him.

This so called dr. recommended that my husband use a C-Pap machine, never once in his office visits after using this machine was he questioned about how he was doing, nor did he ever check the disk to see the progress he might have been making. I would never suggest anyone else go to this so called dr.

I have always been confident with the information provided to me by Dr. Lichtinger. He will spend as much time as necessary with his patients and although it was a 6 month wait to get into his practice, it was worth everyday of the wait. When I have an issue needing immediate attention, I see him the same day I call.
