Doesn't care
My husband injured his shoulder and he was sent to Dr Lemos. Dr Lemos kept telling him to 'wait and see because often times they heal without surgery.' Six months later there was zero change, except for increased pain. When he was finally switched to a different surgeon the new doctor told him his shoulder was never going to heal without surgery. Dr Lemos had nothing but excuses for the way he handled the situation. Not to mention, my husband would be the second or third appt of the morning and Dr Lemos was already 45 minutes behind. How does that even happen? I've worked for orthopedic surgeons before and I know what I should expect, this wasn't it. He dropped the ball and I would never recommend him.

Poor recovery plan explanation. Doesn't seem to know which case he's talking about. No decent communication when post surgical problems arise.

I saw Dr Lemos numerous times when I broke my wrist, after first having been treated in the ER. His staff got me an appointment right away and he scheduled my surgery for the next day. All follow up visits were quick and painless. All X-rays were done in the office, as were the fitting and issuing of my brace. I can’t think of anything negative about my experience with Dr Lemos and his staff.

Waited 45 minutes past appointment time with no explanation or warning from office staff until I complained about the wait. 2 prior appointments also resulted in 20 minutes or more wait for Dr Lemos.

After a bad Fall on the ice I was assigned Dr. Lemos while in the E.R. He did 2 surgeries for me from that fall. 1st he put my wrist back together with a plat and it is better than I thought it would be by far. Then he repairs my completely torn rotator cuff. I was tod by so many that that is the most painful surgery ever. Well not with Dr. Lemos. I was almost pain free for the 1st 7 weeks untill it was time to up the therapy. I would re commend him100%. I feel so fortunate to get him that night to be my Doctor. He is good, kind and caring.
