Dr. David Lee, MD

I've been seeing Dr Lee for nearly 16 yrs and since that very 1st visit he's always 'listened' to me. When I tell him this or that hurts, giving him symptoms-He Listened. He trusts that I know my body and can give him accurate symptoms. He is the very first doctor that ever trusted me to know myself. At one point I moved about 30 mins away & I thought I would try to locate a closer doctor. I went to that doctor twice, then quickly returned to Dr Lee. He's very thorough in his exams and actually talks to you. He goes over the treatment plan with you and makes sure that you agree with that treatment.

I have been with Dr. Lee since July of this year. He was recommended to me by other family members in the area and I am so glad that I followed their advice. I have seen him on several occasions and have always been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy from the front desk to the exam room. My most recent experience is the reason for this review. Dr Lee referred me to an imaging group for an MRI. The results were provided to me very quickly, but the terminology was so far above me that I couldn't get through it all. I asked Dr. Lee by message if he could please dumb it down for me a bit -- which he did at 11:00 at night! I've never had that experience before with any healthcare professional. My hats off to you Dr. Lee and your staff. Please keep on doing what you're doing, and I'll leave you alone in the middle of the night.

Dr Lee has been my son's pediatrician since spring of 2008, going on 15 years! He's accompanied my son growing up. has always been friendly caring and thorough. IMHO, he's one of the best doctors Novant Health has to offer.

I am giving Dr Lee 5 stars since a 4 1/2 star option or not available using healthgrades. Dr Lee cares about his patients and it shows but I would take 1/2 stars off due to his not ordering a urinalysis as part of an annual physical and not doing the old fashioned prostate check for male patients. I questioned him regarding both of the above and he has his reasons for “passing” on these two formerly automatic things.
