The worst doctor
I had surgery last year and there were 3 different doctors who saw the surgery. They all said the same thing that he didn't do it correctly and that he only made it worse. He is an aesthetic doctor but less efficient in surgeries related to work accidents.I wouldn't recommend it. He's only interested in the insurance money. He is too arrogant and his receptionist does not answer phone calls. My age is 25 years old and he doesn't care about me, my life changed for the worse because of him.

Dr Kupfer is not a problem. His office staff leaves something to be desired. I am scheduled for surgery but have never been told the time. I have made numerous calls to his office but never get a live person I have left many voice mails and have not had the courtesy of a return call. My surgery is scheduled soon and I still don't know what time to be there. I live in Hemet and the surgery is in San Diego which is a fair distance for me to travel and it is imperative that I know the time but if I can't get a return call from the office what am I to do?

I love Dr. Kupfer! He's an amazing surgeon. I've seen him since 2013 with hand issues (carpel tunnel and tendonitis). Even all the PTs compliment his scars, they are totally invisible. John is amazing as well! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kupfer and John...I was initially told I would have zero use of my hands by another Dr after 1.5 years of treatment, I was referred to Dr. Kupfer and he has completely healed them. Was back working within 60 days.

The most Arrogant and rudest doctor on the planet!!! Do not trust him! I had Rhinoplasty surgery with him n it was a NIGHT MARE. He made me look like a clown. I was traumatized. He got 12k for it n would not redo it cuz of his big head ego. The staff is something right of a night mare!! Everyone in that office are liars n cons. Its like walking into the twilight zone n no way out... I had an injury do an an accident to my nose n he charged me 12 k for something other doctors would of charged 5k. But he toke advantage cuz it was on a lean. I cried n begged him to fix it n not make me live with what he left me with, that no one should have to walk around with a nose that literally looked like a clown nose ??????..he said I had to pay for another surgery.. another 12k. I paid another to fix it n paid 5k.

Being injured at work launches a frustrating, confusing, and disappointing recovery process. Even after a abnormal electrical study and a Qualified Medical Examiner showing that I had several work injuries, I had difficulty accessing the authorization for the medical treatment I needed. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr. Kupfer, and I have since been amazed at his patience, knowledge, and foresight. I am truly grateful for this medical practitioner and his office staff and physician's assist

Very disappointed. Unprofessional staff starting from the phones, making the appt, to check in, and office visit. Dr. Kupfer spent less than 5 minutes with me, didn't give me any instructions on how to care for my torn ligaments in my fingers - which have now gotten worse. He talked more about his own finger injury than mine and told me mine wasn't as bad as his. Correct me if I am wrong but I am paying for him to talk about MY injury, not his and to not compare it.

Had carpal tunnel surgery, did well on procedure but everything else was poor. Office staff in Chula Vista was very overwhelmed and seemed to be undertrained/understaffed. Always late on appts. Seemed highly inefficient that you would have to be on top of your own medical history & expectations. Dr. Kupfer gave little to no explanation on outcome of surgery nor any info on what to do or expect other than to return to office in a week. Had to do own research on post op expectations. Not good.

This doctor has been treating me for carpal tunnel syndrome for 6 months now. I was diagnosed by a qualified medical expert this week who determined that my injury is not carpal tunnel however, spinal related. Weirdly enough I was beginning to become disenchanted with David Kupfer, AND his staff, as every time I had an appointment there, I experienced long wait times before seeing the doctor, and long wait times after seeing the doctor, for aftercare or next appointment instructions. Check Yelp.
