AWESOME!
Dr. Kosmoski was very detailed in his explanation of my condition and the procedure he would perform. He put me and my wide at ease about moving forward with the surgery. I was desperate for relief and I got it! I woke up pain free for the first time in almost 3 years. He also stressed that I had a huge role to play in my recovery to ensure the surgery was a success. I followed his instructions and I am virtually pain free 2 years later. I actually felt great immediately after surgery even when the anesthesia/pain medication was completely out of my system. Even my incision was painless. Honestly, the COVID test was the worst part of my experience. Dr. Kosmoski and his staff are awesome!

Run Away
He paralyzed my dad from the neck down and then would not even look me in the eye afterwards to tell me what happened. He left him in recovery unable to move for over 8 hours while he did other surgeries before he started trying to come up with a plan. We had to scramble to find a new surgeon that would accept him and try to repair the damage within 24 hours of the initial surgery. No one from his office had even contacted my family to check on us afterwards. Literally run for your life from this place.

It was 20 years ago this week that Dr. Kosmoski performed an emergency laminectomy on my spine at theT8/9 level. I highly recommend him and his team! He fixed my problem thus enabling me to walk and function normally. In addition to being a highly skilled surgeon he is also a kind and compassionate man.

I have had 2 neurosurgeries with Dr. Kosmoski. He is very kind, took time to explain what the issue was, demonstrating on a spine, with a very thorough teaching. He is so confident and exudes that in our discussions. His staff is amazing, so very helpful before and after the procedures. Day of surgery, he came in spoke with me and my family, again answered all questions. Put me at ease with the surgery and my post op care.

Dr. Kosmoski and his staff are wonderful. He saved my ability to walk. I had severe spinal compression and it was gone like that. I am so grateful. The office girls Rebecca and Kristy could not have made my recovery any better. No matter how much I called them the reassured me and helped me so.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kosmoski and his team. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and able to communicate thoroughly with great compassion. He asks effective questions, listens well, and marries that information to what he sees on the scans to identify the best course of action. His team in the office are equally knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. I am so very grateful for them all. I am pain free, healing and recovery both going very at well 5 weeks out from surgery. (He taught me to understand and appreciate/honor the difference between the two). He explained what to expect in great detail ahead of time, and everything has gone exactly as stated. Great comfort found in his expertise, communication and compassion. They are life changers.

I would highly recommend Dr.Kosmoski. I found him on the internet and he had good reviews; which after having back surgery I can highly concur. He is knowledgeable and skilled. I felt like i was in capable hands. My surgery experience was very good. I have had 2 previous surgeries and this was by far the least stressful. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. The anesthesiologist he works with is also very good. My hair is not falling out and I did not wake up with a hangover. awesome doc and staff

He reviewed my MRI, and told me I did not need surgery. He told me to take a break from yoga. I listened to him, and I've only been walking about 4-5 miles each day & avoiding lifting. I've gone almost two months without any back pain. He told me to be symptom free for 6-12 months before returning to yoga. I'd always thought yoga was good for me, but after dealing with on/off severe lower back pain for 15 months, I went to Dr. Kos and he explained to me that I was basically "doing jumping jacks on a sprained ankle, by exercising with an injured muscle" This doctor was referred to me by two friends that had surgery by Dr. Kos. They both have great outcomes. I highly recommend this doctor. He won't do surgery if he does not think he can help you. He is straight forward, and extremely smart. He took a lot of time with me, and educated me on my injury.

I aggravated my back during vacation and began experiencing weakness/numbness in foot day before returning home. Called Dr. Kos office next morning after getting back. They had me scheduled for MRI and appt at 10:30AM. I had severely ruptured disk, and Dr Kos had me go directly to hospital that afternoon for surgery next morning. Was home a few hours after surgery. Only needed pain meds for a couple days. 2.5 weeks post op now and feeling great, though still following strict recovery directions.

I was in such neck, shoulder and next pain and my family doctor said he was an awesome neurosurgeon. I really liked him personal and he assured me my spinal stenosis in the neck could be fixed. He did an awesome job in fixing my neck. It has been two months and I am pain free. Thanks to Dr Kosmoski

I would (and have) recommend Dr. Kosmoski to anyone and everyone! I was given his name by a friend as I was very unhappy with the surgeon that my family doctor sent me to. With that office I felt like more of a number than a person. I felt completely comforted and welcomed by Dr. Kosmoski's staff from the first phone call. I was scheduled to see Dr. Kosmoski within a couple of days and had surgery right away. I went home the same day and have been pain free since! Many thanks to Dr. Kosmoski!

Dr. Kosmoski and his staff were excellent. In addition to being flexible with my crazy schedule, each one of them was kind and thorough. They respected my wishes and made sure I understood every option for my care. I never felt rushed and Dr. Kosmoski made a point to stay with me until I did not have any other questions. I moved quite far from their new location, but I would go back to Dr. Kosmoski in the future if I needed additional care and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. K is awesome! He operated on my back 6 months ago and saved my way of life. He was thorough and invested time in answering all questions and concerns I had. He diligently explained my injury and the procedure and was empathetic, caring and attentive during the whole process. I'm thankful that I'm pain free and working back towards life as usual.

Dr. Kosmoski and his staff are quite simply THE BEST! Dr. Kosmoski performed carpel tunnel surgery on my left hand in September 2016. My discomfort had gotten so intense that I was unable to sleep more than just a few hour a night on and off. My daily activities had become quite a challenge. My procedure was uneventful and due to the excellent care of Dr. Kosmoski, my healing was exceptionally easy. I highly recommend Dr. Kosmoski is you need a neurological surgeon.

Dr. Kosmoski is by far one of the best neurosugeons in north Texas. He has operated on my spine three different times. Twice on my neck and once on my lower back. These operations were very successful and have left me pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Kosmoski to anyone requiring these type surgeries. He's the best of the best in the field of neurosurgery. Dr. Kos was recommended by my primary, Dr. Dhingra. I had already seen a doctor that was going to do a much more invasive back surgery. Dr. Kos was my second opinion and I am thankful I went with him!! If you are not good at following post op instructions, then don't see Dr. Kos. He made it very clear to me that how I approached the healing process would determine the success of the surgery. FOLLOW POST OP INSTRUCTIONS!! With Dr. Kos, you are in very capable hands!!
