My experience
Went to doctor about a lipoma on back that was causing discomfort. He came in, very professional, said that he could remove it that day. Procedure went quickly and I scheduled follow up to have stitches removed following week. Went to second appointment following week, arrived 15 minutes early as they ask. Was called back to room and set in room for 40 minutes, listening to the doctor talk to a patient in the next room before I went out and asked how much longer it would be and if the nurse could remove stitches due to discomfort. Nurse said she couldn’t do that. I continued to wait finally at 50 minutes (12:00pm) he came out of room, immediately took a call telling whoever that he would be there by 12:30. Continued on phone, I told nurse I was leaving she said he was on way. I waited finally showed up and said sorry other patient got bad news appointment took longer. Next time if a patient has bad news schedule patients accordingly. Our time is just as valuable as yours.

I saw Dr. Koelsch for removal of a melanoma. The surgery went great, I found him very knowledgeable, easy to ask questions, explained things well and had a great staff and nurse. I would highly recommend and would for sure go to him again if I needed surgery.

We found it easy to get in to see Dr Koelsch and he and his staff were very friendly and helpful. He explained the advantages and disadvantages of the various treatment options, gave us his recommendation and allowed us to make the final decision regarding a treatment plan.

Dr. Koelsch is number 1 in my book! His knowledge of antibiotics and surgery combined allowed him to bring me through a serious illness. He also performed a second surgery that had an elevated risk of complications, but the post-surgery complications were minor. He knew this second surgery would be difficult and he allowed himself the time needed to be sure he had done all he could to make it a success. I am over two weeks into recovery and feel I am improving daliy!

Best physician I ever had the good fortune to be allowed to be a patient of. He's wicked smart, very sensitive to emotional needs, and was right-on in every diagnosis he gave to help me. Every minute I needed to wait I knew he was taking extra time with the patient before my schedule. I so admired that, because I knew when my time came he would give me the same respect and consideration. Very likely to recommend Dr. Koelsch. In fact, I have recommended him to no less than 3 patients.
