Dr. David Knapp, MD

Dr Knapp has been my Dr for many years & has been instrumental in getting me the specialists I've needed. He has listened to me & taken my concerns seriously. Although they can't do same or next day appts, I would rather wait to see him. I have multiple health issues & he is constantly monitoring the care I get from my other physicians & orders any test I require. He is truly a Godsend to me. His staff is always ready to help in any aspect of my progress, including filing my forms with my LTD administrator. Please be aware that the time you're given is your check-in time, not appt time, so be patient. Also some patients take longer than scheduled but Dr Knapp won't cut them off, you never know if the last thing they mention is vital.

Condescending; doesnt listen; untimely with sending off orders for tests and needed oxygen equipment. Still waiting after a week and a half. His medical assistant is rude and oversteps her medical boundaries. Dr needs to retire. Changing doctors.

Did a lot of talking and no lab work to confirm any diagnosis. Pretty much told me nothing about my pain and laughed at the notion that I needed to be there. No remmondation from me. Should retire.

The office manager is very rude, unprofessional and needs to keep her medical opinions to herself and leave them to the professionals. Dr. Knapp needs to review a patient's entire profile with all accompanying documentation, MRIs, etc before making decisions on medical treatment based on a patient's age instead of his or her diagnoses. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

My insurance provided me Dr. Knapp's info and suggested he would be a good fit for me. I scheduled an appointment without problem, but was later told Dr. Knapp does not accept new patients and that he definitely does not accept chronic pain patients. They assumed I was an addict seeking narcotics. If this doctor can only treat my illness with narcotics, I'm sure this is not the doctor for me, anyways.
