Great listener and will steer you on to where you

I agree with the last person, I have been going to see Dr. Klein for about 8 years but he left the practice he was at, and I too can not find him ANYWHERE. If anyone knows where he is practicing now, let those of us who appreciate his assistance find him again.

Great Dr.
Telehealth
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Klein’s for over 10 yrs. But he left the practice he was at at the end of 2025 and I cannot locate him. I would LOVE to know WHERE the person who left the Feb 16, 2025 review found him! He takes a little getting used to. If you need to be coddled he’s probably not your guy. He shoots straight. I wouldn’t have stayed with him as long as I did or be trying so hard to locate him if he was any different. Over the years my appts. were both in person and telehealth.

I found Dr. Klein to be a very good listener who provided excellent input in helping me understand my reactions to a trauma. He worked with me to find the correct medication and dosage to treat my symptoms. I appreciate the attention he has provided to aid in my recovery.

CONDESCENDING is the word. Clearly extremely smart but take his questions at face value and ask clarifying questions about what he's asking if needed. Brace yourself to be doubted and have an extremely clear idea of your presenting concerns before you speak. I think he isn't aware how he comes off, but just be ready to hold your ground.

I don't understand the low ratings, he's fabulous!
Telehealth
I love Dr. Klein. Yes, the practice overall sucks, which is what you get dealing with a corporation. He is knowledgeable, a great listener, and has good insights. Dr. Klein helped me through some of my darkest days when I lost my Mother. If you message him directly from the portal, he is very responsive to your questions and requests. Ignore the bad ratings.

Perfect Provider for my Personality
Telehealth
Dr Klein is the perfect fit in both approach and communication style for my personality. I appreciate his succinct and occasionally bluntly honest way of stating facts to help me cut through the noise to focus on what 'is', not what 'could be' or what it 'feels like'. He speaks to me as I wish to be viewed, as a strong, capable adult. He will not sugar-coat things to prevent me from becoming upset; it's a gift to be treated as an emotionally mature adult instead of emotionally fragile one who must be approached with 'caution'. He consistently demonstrates that he not only understands me but also the roots of the issues I experience. He has been a wonderful resource, helping me to quickly identify the most effective treatments with clear explanations and expectations. He gives feedback that holds me accountable for my thoughts and actions;, which can be uncomfortable; understanding my own involvement in my mental health has empowered me.

ADHD Patient: NEVER GO TO HIM
Telehealth
I went to Dr. Klein using telehealth and wish I researched beforehand. He is extremely rude, intimidating, and condescending. He gaslit me and told me I have anxiety, and would cut off my answers and explain things to me in an extremely patronizing way. This is the worst medical 'professional' I have ever seen. He told me 'you are medically wrong' over and over when I was explaining my own experiences. I told him I'm really sure I have ADHD and he said 'just because you experience one thing doesn't mean anything, like how if someone is sad it does not mean they are depressed.'

Trust The Reviews! He's awful.
Telehealth
I should have trusted the awful feedback on Dr, Klein before deciding to see him not once but twice. He's as bad as everyone here makes him out to be. Condescending is the best way to describe him. It's a good thing we did a Telehealth visit because I may not have reacted the same in person with him. Zero compassion, rude, zero interest in actually trying to help you cope with a condition, and only interested in prescribing medication and sticking out his hand for payment. Lifestance Health is a joke as well. Everything from scheduling appointments to trying to see any type of feedback through their portal is a major hassle. I thought seeing an actual Psychiatrist would be more beneficial than going through my PCP and boy was I wrong.

Most attentive psychiatrist I've had
Telehealth
I was concerned because I saw the scores but Dr. Klein has been attentive, professional and on time. I'm not sure why he has such low scores he's really nice and seems to be very concerned for my well being. This is hands-down the best psychiatrist I've ever had.

I should have researched
Telehealth
He was very crass and a bit condescending. The entire time I felt like I was the problem but after reading all the negative reviews I'm starting to think that maybe he's in the wrong profession. After my appointment I felt way worse about myself and am still contemplating if I want to see another new psychiatrist. I hope he doesn't provide therapy and if he does I feel sorry for anyone that schedules an appointment with him. I should have researched who I was going to see. I'll be staying far away from this doctor and will warn anyone within hear shot to do the same.

This doctor is deplorable
I had a Telehealth appointment with Dr. Klein to assess whether I have autism and/or ADHD. Dr. Klein was very condensating to the point where he started to insult my intelligence and it started to feel like bullying. Never have I ever been so callously mocked and antagonized by someone who works in the medical field before. It felt like he didn't take my concerns serious and instead of showing empathy, he replaced it with ridicule. He asked me why I made the appointment and after telling him that I often forget things, he started to say "well you remember how to get to work, you remember your name" as if he was calling me a bold faced liar. When I tried to have my fiancé explain to him what concerns there are for why we made the appointment, he dismissed her and said he's interviewing me in a very demeaning tone. I made the appointment to get help in determining something that I can't explain and I was met with nothing, but, ridicule by a so called medical professional.

Worst experience
Scheduled as a new patient to discuss my situation. Out of NOWHERE he comes attacking, inferring I hated doctors? I felt he was Intimidating, Gaslighting, condescending, insulting, talking over me. I felt His behavior was cruel and it left me crying and upset for several days, during a time when I was very physically ill It was the worst experience of my life with any physician. This happened months ago and was reported repeatedly

Is not professional at all only cares about prescribing meds without listening to where the patient is, not caring or concerned at all about what is going on. Zooms were a waste of time and money.

Wow that was terrible
I decided to wait a few hours and make myself calm down before I wrote this review. This was, by and large, the very worst experience I have ever had with a psychiatrist. As a recent victim of severe trauma and with a lifetime of childhood trauma and mental health issues, I’ve never felt so dismissed, so judged, or so gaslighted as I did during this 30 minute conversation. Dr. Klein constantly interrupted me, compared my trauma to a car accident, dismissed my coping skills, and absolutely would not help with the issues I am having. He’s condescending and rude. He was completely dismissive of my lifestyle choices and talked down to me throughout the whole appointment. I’ve never felt more traumatized coming out of a doctors appointment than going in. This whole experience was damaging and will affect me for a long time. Hopefully the next doctor will be less condescending and more supportive.

SO condescending!
I had one telemed visit with him and felt worse after speaking with him than I did before. He had such a condescending tone and I just felt like he was trying to start a fight with me the whole visit. He is one of the few psychiatrists that is covered by my insurance but I will NOT be going back after the way he talked to me.

The Lifestance Health team is beyond incompetent. They should be ashamed if themselves the way they deal with patients. I recommend seeing anyone else. It is not Dr Kleins fault but the time at Lifestance Health makes it so the overall experience is terrible.
