I have been Dr. Kim’s patient for nearly 5 years. He is more than a brilliant oncologist; he is so compassionate, and at the beginning of my journey, when I was so fearful, he answered my many anxious phone calls and emails in a very timely manner. He responded to my many questions scientifically, yet in layman’s terms, with Information I sometimes found hard to swallow. I respect him so much. I know he is always a phone call away... from me and the rest of his patients. Thank you, Dr. Kim

I transferred my Mom from City of Hope to UCLA Oncology in Porter Ranch, after his name came up from several friends (None of which know each other). I’m grateful we have an Oncologist that pays close attention to his patients needs and acts swiftly, with a sense of urgency, to ensure his patients receive the FASTEST and BEST treatment possible. He has been a light for us, after experiencing delayed scheduling through City of Hope and being negligently discharged by Providence Holy Cross when my Mother’s Cancer metastasized to stage 4 and was experiencing renal failure (Holy Cross didn’t do thorough testing and concluded it was a stomach infection)... After our first oncology visit, Dr. Kim’s staff urgently booked all appointments a few days later (we’d still be waiting for City of Hope’s appointments). She was admitted to the hospital Tuesday of this week. Yesterday, she received her first full RCHOP chemotherapy at the hospital & remains under close observation. The staff’s amazing.
