Dismissive and Incompetent
Dr. Kattan didn't spend more than 5 minutes with me at an appointment I booked to discuss birth control options for managing my periods. He didn't take any of my medical conditions into consideration. He gave me general options, and when I picked the pill and asked what kind of pill I should try, he just said he was prescribing a generic one and didn't go over my options for pills (a simple Google search shows there's lots of different hormone combinations for birth control pills with different side effects). He then said to call if I had any weird side effects. When I asked what kind of side effects, he couldn't think of any. I did end up experiencing bad side effects, and when I called, he said I could try a different pill, but I haven't received that prescription yet.
