Dr. David Kaplan, MD

He is a relatively typical doctor but my big complaint was that I was discharged from the office after the office had contacted the office I go to for cardiology stuff and had been told I had rescheduled many appointments. None of these were missed nor had I missed without rescheduling any appointments for Dr. Kaplan's office (of which I had one and canceled another) and yet they dropped me as a patient for "not following medical advise". Clearly the office was worried I would be a bad patient

I have been under Dr Kaplan's care in an effort to explain newly elevated liver enzymes. It's been four months of extensive blood work, sonogram, MRI and finally a liver biopsy. After each and every test I have had to call the office repeatedly for results. Never once did they initiate contact to share or explain information. Our initial consult was thorough but follow up meetings have been scattered and he has recommended tests that I reminded him have already been completed. Look elsewhere!
