Dr. Joyce tricked my aunt who does have some mental health issues into coming to his office for a blood draw, then proceeded to have his nurses hold her there and when she became angry and tried to leave had the paramedics called so he could have her taken to the hospital and put on a 72 hour psych hold. All this was because my aunt was not sure she wanted to proceed with her cancer treatment and Dr. Joyce wants to force her into treatment against her will. Dr. Joyce is an unethical liar!

I have a complex and difficult case. Dr. Joyce has been thorough, thoughtful, and attentive through the entire process. He spends extra time to make sure I understand what the tests and results mean and why he's ordering them. He takes the time to read up on the current research and lines of thinking about certain conditions and keeps his skills current and sharp. Some doctors seem dismissive of women patients. Not so with Dr. Joyce. He always listened respectfully and took me seriously.
