Dr. David Jones, DO

I went to see him in pain. After a 2 minute conversation, he determined I was constipated and prescribed a 'as seen on TV' medication. Felt dismissed. Because of the pain, a trip to the ER finally offered some relief. FYI, I was not constipated.

Dr. Jones ,I feel he is the best gastroenterologist my experience is that I feel confident that I put my trust in him with my fatty liver with cirrhosis and Dr. Jones make me feel everything is going to be ok!! And I truly feel it in my heart. & his staff are so caring front office ladies all around to back of the sweet nurse . Mr. Jones thank you for careing for me. I will recommend him to anyone who needs gastroenterologist specialist from stomach.

I have been with GCSA for the last 20 years.Dr. Jones has been my doctor for the last 9 years.He is an amazing gastroenterologist.Very caring with a great bedside manner.I highly recommended him and his staff.

I have been a patient for over 5 years and always walk away knowing I have been heard regarding medical concerns and symptoms. Dr. Jones takes his time listening to my concerns and takes his time answering my questions. He is a great doctor to have!

First visit with this doctor. Doctor rushes in (like he was upset), quickly scans through my paperwork (seconds), tells me that it looks like your other doctors did everything, and that he can't do anything, says it's IBS, told me basically to go home and "look it up" (IBS), (look it up?!!! That's his job!), gave me some literature on Fod map diet (without explaining it) and sent me on my way!!! Never examined me or asked me where I'm hurting. I came in with excruciating pain in my right side. I was literally in tears and he didn't ask me any questions. This doctor was rushing me out! He was insensitive and unprofessional! I don't know how he got those other high reviews. Maybe, he just had a bad day, but that doesn't excuse his attitude! 0 stars from me!

The prep may be a pain in the #*#&$, but the procedure went flawlessly, with care, efficiency, and consideration for my well-being and comfort. I highly recommend Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio, especially Dr. David Jones.

It took too long time to get through the call.The staff did not call back for the details until I had to call them.
