I had cochlear implant surgery with Dr. Isaacson. I am thinking of getting the other ear done. I was unable to keep my residual hearing, but I understand that was more difficult to do 6 years ago. I would recommend him for getting this surgery. I had few side affects long term. I even like him as a surgeon and human being.

Loved Dr Isaacson ( very thorough and diagnosed multiple ENT issues at one setting) but not at staff at SJRMC which is the only hospital I can use. Turns out that the entire ENT staff at Southbend clinic is no longer at SJRMC due to “on call politics”and you are not informed that this group only go to Memorial Hospital (or surgicenters) before your appointment. I personally would give dr isaacson a 5 star rating but instead posting a one star rating because not going to SJRMC compromises pt care

Dr Barret my sons pediatrician recommended Dr Isaacson to us and I’m so grateful that he did. My son had an ear tag on his left ear that was quite large we went to him to see if we could get it removed. He was very thorough in examining him, he took his time to explain the procedure and told me the pros and cons of it all. We decided to go through with the surgery, after it was all done you could never tell he had stitches! Very professional, I recommend him to everyone I know!

Gr. Isaacson is the most wonderful doctor. He is very patient and takes as much time as the patient needs. He performed two surgeries on me and both were successful. I am very happy I went to see him to address my illnesses. He is compassionate and really cares about his patients Lastly, I think Dr. Isaacson is one of the most intelligent doctors I know and certainly knows his specialty. One of the young ladies who works outside the office is fast and efficient and makes me laugh.

I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Isaacson. However, it is difficult to believe that in such an organization that reception staff, schedulers, and others was in the office setting three patients so poorly. I don't know supervisors, who are certainly be focused on revenue through patient satisfaction, could allow their staff members to treat patients the way they do. If it weren't for needing to see this actual doctor, I would never go there again. Something really needs to be done.

He gave very little guidance on what he was seeing medically speaking. His office staff scheduled a crucial follow up appointment for when the doctor was not there.
