Dr. David Hwang, MD

I made an appointment on Jan, 2022. The first available appt was in June 2022. So I've been waiting. I just got a call from his nurse on May 16 and she told me that he isn't seeing new patients, as if I was supposed to know that. She then said I would have to wait another YEAR to see him. I just got a message on NorthShoreConnect from Dr. Hwang stating that the appointment was cancelled and the reason was listed as "PATIENT". But they are the ones who made the appointment, made me wait 5 months, and then they cancelled it. This is the third bad experience I've had interacting with NorthShore. If your insurance allows it, I would go elsewhere.

Dr Hwang is an excellent internist who is very polite, responsive and knowledgeable.

Dr. Hwang, MD is an exceptional practitioner. He takes the time to get to know you so that he is able to make a diagnosis that takes into account the total picture. He knowledge of medicine is beyond reproach but open minded enough to think outside the box when circumstances dictate. If I lived out of state, I would still make Dr. Hwang my primary care physician. He is just that good.
