Dr. David Hunt, DO

Dr. David Hunt was my primary care doctor He is very intelligent well seasoned doctor. I've been fortunate to have many good doctors, But Dr. David Hunt , I find the best so far. I really miss him and would like to find him.

Not good. He was assigned to me when my previous PCP moved on and while he seems to be a nice guy, his treatment of my problems were not the same as my previous dr. whom I thoroughly enjoyed as my PCP. He does not and would not agree to put me on TRT for my extremely low testosterone deficiency. In one phone consult with him about a medication I was on he changed it to a different medication but refused to give me the spelling so I could look it up saying the internet is the worst place I could go to get information !! Same call he was going to prescribe a medication I had had success with in the past but said no it would be too expensive that my insurance would'nt cover it. I told him I would call the insurance and he flatly told me I can't do that, that they don't want patients calling them which is a total lie. Then he dropped me saying he no longer gives referrals for pain mgmt. which again was a lie. I would not recommend this dr. at all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hunts for several years, but no longer. He has become rude and offensive to both of us. One to stay away from.

Dr. Hunt does not listen to you. He ignored my symptoms for 8 months before I demanded an MRI of my brain. Yes, it turned out I had a brain tumor. This happened in 2013.

Has been more dedicated to my health issues than other providers I have used. He often reviews patient history from home the night before a scheduled appointment. Also, when a popular medicare advantage insurance company went out of business, Dr Hunt notified his patients in advance so they could make arrangements to get insured without a lapse in coverage. I call this dedication to ones trade. My blood work since going to Dr. Hunt is about as good as it gets due to great care and prescribing.
