Dr. David Huang, MD

I had post bilaterial mastectomy reconstruction with Dr.Huang. I had 2 surgeries latissimus flap and expander/implant exchange. I was not happy with the results and was in pain from one implant dropping and migrating towards my armpit. The other side constant muscle spasms. I was scheduled SIX MONTHS out to have a reconstruction revision to fix the issues. I called and emailed several times during my 6 mo wait to see if there had been any cancelations to move my surgery up. I got one response of "No" and the rest were ignored. About a month and a half before my surgery date, one of his nurses called me and said he is dismissing me as a patient. Claiming he had done all he could. I'm very hurt and disappointed with the care I received. I have since found another plastic surgeon 200 miles away that will be correcting Dr Huangs work. Going through cancer, radiation and multiple surgeries is so very hard. I wish I would have received better, more compassionate care.

Keep looking. Both Dr. Huang and his staff nurse were arrogant, unkind and patronizing. I found a new doctor to finish my breast reconstruction after surgery for breast cancer. If you want a chance to participate in your care, don't waste your time. They won't listen. It was an awful experience.

I am truly blessed to have been referred to Osage Valley Plastic Surgery for my breast reconstruction. Dr. Huang, Carol, and Lacy are surely on my team of angels. They extended compassion and proven talent when I needed it most. Dr. Huang has EXCEPTIONAL skill with the reconstruction, my new breasts look fantastic! Carol was often my rock, always extending her compassion and assistance, She is an AMAZING person with equally AMAZING talent and should be cloned! Talent of heart and mind!
