Dr. Horwitz should not be treating musculoskeletal injuries. He seems to lack expertise, he disregards patient symptoms, and he simply goes through the motions and "checks the box" for a workers' compensation injury instead of ensuring the individual actually recovers properly. He also took 3 weeks before ordering a CT scan to check for hernia instead of doing so immediately, and he discharged patient on the basis of, "Your congenital kidney must be responsible for your continuing symptoms in your leg/hip on the opposite side of the body, go see a urologist on your private insurance." I would not recommend this guy to anyone
