He was my dr for a 2-3 years when I lived in Virginia. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. Kind, respectful, competent. Office staff and waiting area was calming.

Wonderful Compassionate knowledges PCP at Henrico
Dr. David Harrison is a wonderful PCP who previously worked for HCA and now stands alone in his office where he always should have been as I am so proud to have my excellent doctor like him with me and I would rather say his dedication as a physician it is being a doctor and that now alone in his office, dedicated in his office for his patients, he should always have been there so that his patients never lose the Path that leads us to where to go for our cures for our ailments or diseases. Dr.Harrison really takes his time and cares about all of his patients. I have had him as my PCP for many years and highly recommend him. The exclusivity of him is in the former medical intellectual responsible for him that we almost don't see about that and that we are already running out of. Call his office for your new appointment.

Good listener and diagnostician. Downside is he’s short on office staff right now so getting someone to pick up the office phone is probably a no. You have to leave a message for a call back in late afternoon.

My experience with Dr. Harrison has always been one of extreme satisfaction and gratitude for his warmth and expertise. In short, I cannot think of a better family physician, period. I am a 76-year-old male who until the past four years considered myself in excellent heath, but recently have encountered cancer and other issues. In more than 2 decades under Dr. Harrison's care, with extreme changes in the healthcare environment in which many doctors have begun strictly limiting the number of minutes allotted to each patient, I have always felt that he would spend as much time as needed to make sure all my issues were thoroughly addressed. In addition, whenever I have called to make an appointment, the staff has scheduled me within a few days. I think this is a superb medical practice, and Dr. Harrison is an exemplary physician.

I have been a patient in the practice for over 15 years...never any problems with the staff or Physician. It takes 2 to make a situation good or bad. The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. Being a manager is a tough job, and I feel certain that she was doing hers ! One of the best teams I have seen in a while.

Dr. Harrison is , by far, the best PCP I have ever had in my 52 yrs. He's been my PCP for the past 15 years. He is very personable, attentive, answers all of your questions and never rushes you out of his office. Like most Dr.'s who are busy you might have to wait a few min. after your appointment time but its well worth it... You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Harrison is a wonderful doctor.. I know someone might not like what I marked as wait time; but he is worth it becuase when he is with yoiu - he does not rush you, is thorough and answers all questions. He is an excellant diagnostician. He was also my mother's doctor when she was alive and when she was admitted to the hosptial one night at around 1:30 a.m., at 3:30 a.m - in walked Dr. Harrison to check on him. Highly Recommend.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Harrison's. Dr. Harrison is very patient, caring and knowledgeable. Until recently I had never had any problems with the staff, the Office Manager is awful. She is rude, unprofessional and will definitely be the cause of my seeking another primary care doctor. I have had several issues with her over the years and this is the final straw! If you can make it through the incompetence and the rudeness of some of the staff you will be in good hands.

Dr. Harrison is very personable. He takes his time and truly listens to your concerns. It has taken me quite a while to finally find a PCP like him. On another note, there are a few women in the office that are extremely rude, condescending, short and snippy. If you can make it past the phone call to schedule, or the billing department ( kinda scary calling her also ). You will find an amazing doctor hiding behind some "not so nice" women.

When my long-time doctor retired, I was devastated. A friend suggested Dr. Harrison and the transition was seamless. For the past two years Dr. Harrison has demonstrated all the qualities I look for in a personal physician. He is friendly, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Appointments and exams are never hurried. He talks "with" you. Never "to" you. He is not the least bit condescending or patronizing. I feel very comfortable with and confident in Dr. Harrison, as well as his staff.

Dr. Harrison is incredibly caring. He actually listens to one's concerns and is completely non-judgmental. He takes whatever time one needs, which makes waiting a little longer to be seen acceptable, since you know you will get the time you need. I would trust him with my life and have for a number of years.
