Dr. David Hagstrom, MD

Caused massive pain due to inappropriate placement of needles.

Dr Hagstrum is thorough and explains everything. He answers any questions that I have. I attended my sons appointment, I am an RN, and appreciate his ability to effectively answer any and all questions.

Dr came around to visit prior to procedure. He has an extremley caring way that puts you at ease and confidense.

He’s truly incredible in taking ur recommendations into consideration for your care of acute or chronic pain !! He saved my life in getting me out of bed, back to work and years later I went back to college and now work in the health care field for one of the Best Cardiologist in Lubbock Tx !!! He has no no idea how happy my 4 children were to get their mommy back after all those painful years !!!

Dr. Hagstrom has been my pain management doctor for about two years. When i first came up from Midland, he was quick to tell me that he was not interested in prescribing narcotics (i assume there had been a recent influx of new patients from Midland after one of only a couple of pain management specialists there was arrested for over-prescribing medications errantly). Since that time, he has worked with me to address my worsening pain issues (due to a couple of accidents over thirty years ago). He offers options for treatment along with direct analysis of what may or may not work. I have been to other specialists (including the Mayo Clinic) who seemed locked in on their opinions before they even spoke with me. Dr. Hagstrom has not taken that approach with me and sits and discusses what i am experiencing (kind of complex history with over 25 broken bones in the past and with spinal degeneration). I appreciate all that he has done so far.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hagstrom for over 4 years now. He is always professional, caring and he always shows concern for my well being as a patient and as a person. I recommend him highly!

Dr. Hagstrom is an excellent doctor. I became his patient in 1996 he is a very good person he takes time with his patient's. I moved to Navada 3 years ago and I found out I needed another surgery so I came back to Lubbock because I trust this doctor that much he has worked on me several times and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Hagstrom is an excellent pain management doctor. I am the wife of his patient. He not only takes care of my husband but he care of me. Answers any and all of our questions with respect and true care. He is up to date with all the opiate governing going on. The office staff goes above and beyond to be helpful, professional & courteous. We highly recommend him and his staff. My husband has been going to Dr. Hagstrom for over 3 years. I am not Dr.Hagstroms patient I am the daughter of his patient and I am so glad we found this doctor he has been getting great care to address his pain problems. Dr.Hagstrom listens and give a understandable plan of care We would highly recommend Dr.Hagstrom .Also his office staff is great always willing to go the extra mile Rebecca is on top of things and we really appreciate all her help. We love how April is always friendly on the phone and in person so we are greatful for all you girls do ??

I would not recommend this Doctor he continued to fill the wrong script and date it incorrectly. Would change it every month seems like and when I tried to go in and have it correct it he would not even discuss it with you until your visit which was normally two months apart. It would be the wrong dosage different dosages etc. He would talk about a procedure in one visit but would never follow up with it. The staff was even worse never answer Do not go here ever never for your protection

This man has been one of the few that has ever helped me over the years. He listens to you as a person, not just as a patient or a number. With the problems that we people have gone thru over the years with excessive pain its nice to know that we are listened to, and understood what is happening to us mentally and physically. We all know that are in this position how important it is to be treated as an individual and not a number.

I have been a patient of Dr Hagstrom for over 12 years. He has provided excellent care in assisting me with pain management. He stays up on the latest methods and technology and works with the patient to ensure highest quality of care. He always has the time to spend with his patients to listen and answer whatever questions they have. He has performed several procedures on me over the years related to pain mgmt and I have always been more than satisfied with his care.

Dr. Hagstrom has treated me for over 16 years and he has ALWAYS done what he felt best for me. He has many procedures on me, to try to control my pain. Since I have an incurable illness and am in chronic pain, I thank God that I was referred to him! He will continue to be my doctor as long as possible!!!!

Dr. Hagstrom is an awesome doctor. So kind and compassionate. My husband has been a patient of his for over 20 years and we would never dream of going anywhere else!

I would highly recommend Dr. heatstroke to anyone suffering from back pain. He has been my pain management doctor for over 15 years. He listens to me and addresses any concerns that may come up. He has treated me with respect and dignity, and he is excellent in what he does.

Dr. Hagstrom is wonderful. He spends as much time as I need during a office call. He asks questions, adjusts my medication. Explains procedures that might help me with my pain. He is willing to work with my orthopedic doctor. I would refer him to anyone with chronic pain. I believe he is honest, caring, and doesn't doubt me about my pain. I enjoy his humor and his calming manner. I thank him every day for his kindness and pain relief.
