Caring and professional
I had a rare condition occur in my left eye 18 months after my cataract surgery (which was performed by another Ophthalmologist). My regular eye doctor recommended Dr. Galiani and he and his staff were kind, professional and put me at ease. A second surgery was required, but I had an unusual reaction to the medications. Dr. Galiani went over and above to see me several times over the course of a few days until the correct medications were found. I truly appreciated the efforts of the doctor and his staff.

Outstanding Service
I began seeing Dr. Galiani about 14 years ago as a referral from my optometrist because of pressure in my eyes. Since that time, Dr. Galiani has literally saved my eyes more times than I can count. I’ve had shingles flare ups and nearly lost vision were it not for his expertise and vigilance. He has come in on his days off to treat me when he had to prescribe strong steroids so that he could monitor the pressure in my eyes during the process of healing. Shingles take nearly a month to heal. The first week or so consists of being examined almost daily because it’s a balancing act of medications and examining the cornea to make sure it’s not causing blindness. Dr. Galiani knows his stuff and truly cares about healing his patients. I’m forever grateful for his expertise and utmost concern for the health of his patients.

I was a first time patient referred by the ER for follow up care of a cornea injury. To say I have never meet a more unprofessional front desk staff than at this practice is an understatement. Specifically, Terri who I was told was from billing, came out of the gate with a full on attitude all because she wasn’t familiar with my insurance and then refused to verify and to run it, she insisted they didn’t take it, I pulled it up to prove to her it was listed and in network. She then became irate and yelled at me in front of a jam packed over booked waiting room of elderly folks, that if I wanted to be seen I would have to self pay first. I tried again to show her proof that they took my insurance, she yelled at me more, refused to listen and literally slammed the window in my face. I was stunned as I walked out of the practice. I’m a firm believer that your front desk is a direct reflection of the doctor so needless to say I likely dodged a bullet here by not having this doctor care for my injury.

In these troubled times of lockdowns, riots, and unemployment, Dr Galiani and his very professional, friendly and competent staff provided a bright and illuminating day for me. The cataract surgery was performed smoothly at Doylestown Hospital. I explained to Dr Galiani, when he called later that night, that I was so amazed at the results experienced on that first day. Colors were brighter, objects sharper and the absence of glare were all as he had relayed to me before. To twist a phrase....great gain with no pain.

Dr. Galiani performed cataract surgery on my left eye in March and due to COVID-19, performed cataract surgery on my right eye in late May. It was originally scheduled for 2 weeks after the left eye. I could not be more excited about the outcome!! Probably not since I was in eighth grade, have I seen this well without glasses or contact lenses. He used PanOptix lenses which allows me to see distance as well as close objects such as fine print without any reading glasses!! I was able to see clearly the day after the surgery with no problems. There was never any pain during or after the procedures. Dr. Galiani and all his staff were extremely friendly and cordial. I would highly recommend this practice for cataract surgery. I would also highly recommend the PanOptix lenses.

Terrible terrible terrible have been a patient for over 5 years and have never been able to see Dr Galvani in less that 45 minutes after the appointment was scheduled. I had enough of this treatment. If you have all day and don’t mind waiting this is the Dr. for you.

My husband was experiencing eye pain that got progressively worse throughout the day and became severe. Dr Galiani and his staff could not have been more accommodating and booked an appointment for us immediately; my husband was evaluated within an hour of us calling. I am so thankful that we avoided a trip to the emergency room and we were able to get his issue resolved the same day. I will definitely recommend this office whenever I have the opportunity!

Always a wait for an appointment. Last visit for an eye exam and the extra charge for a "contact lens fitting" (I get it, after 35 years of wearing contacts, I understand how vision insurance works) they delivered the wrong contact lenses. Luckily I noticed the error after after Inrealized my vision wasn't right, and they did correct their mistake after I called to notify them that the lenses they sold me didn't match the Rx the OD wrote. It was just a big inconvenience I didn't need.

I was never informed of a co payment. The office waited until my bill was 200.00 to notify me.When I asked why I was not told at every visit about the co payment no one could give me a valid answer.I was given an apology and told it was an office over site.now I have a 200.00 bill I am trying to pay.On disability so this is a hard ship for me to put out 30.00 a month to pay a bill I shouldn't have in the first place if the office would have followed procedure and informed me
