Horrible Horrible!!
David Gabbaizadeh, MD is one of the worst doctors i have dealt with in my life. He makes you wait the hour between seeing the nurse and him coming in to see him so that he can bill the insurance for an hour visit. He is rude and condescending. AVOID him at all cost.

Horrible Doctor
Called his office a million times for a refill and I am in constant pain keeps lying and dismissing me doesn’t do his job thinks he’s god. Doctors like this shouldn’t be allowed to take care of patients

Completely NOT empathetic. Told my 26 year old autistic son who was scared and cancelled previously for a colonoscopy to “make sure he shows up and doesn't waste his time this time”.

I had an urgent situation; the front desk was able to get me an appointment same day. Dr Gabbaizadeh is very knowledgeable and confident, he realized how stressed I was, and he provided all the needed answers, he was very respectful. Great staff the facility is spotless, although my appointment was at the end of the day: Dr G. was very patient and energetic and was not rushing.

Cancelled procedure an hour before.
I had a scheduled Colonoscopy with Dr. G. I got a phone call 1 1/2 hours before the procedure, that they needed to cancel. I had been fasting and cleansing for the past 24 hours, had my husband take off work to get me to and from the appointment. This was very unprofessional for a doctor and the practice.

To say his bedside manner is lacking is an understatement! Doesn't even pretend to be compassionate or empathetic, is combative, and argumentative for no reason. Such a rude, condescending and flippant attitude ; and with a smirk too. We see mamy doctors as of late but I was so appalled by this one, I felt compelled to leave this review.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I would caution any person going to see this doctor for poor bedside manner and dangerous practices. I’m still in pain from my visit after what he did… Any member of the LGBTQIA+ community please stay away from this discriminatory Dr. -Spends no time with patients (my appointment was maybe 5 minutes total Dr time) -discrimination against LGBTQIA+ (clearly dislikes gay men) -painfully administered practices with tools (will stab like poke you with tools until he gets what he needs) -if you have additional questions, he’ll ask you to make another appointment so he can make more money. Despicable and shameful. Stay away from this Dr!

Don't go to him, horrible Dr, no manners, no empathy, does not listen. On my first visit I waited a half an hour after I saw the nurse. He told me about the test I have to take, besides that he didn't let me finish explaining everything that was going on with me. I felt uncomfortable that he didn’t care to know all my symptoms. After having the colonoscopy he couldn't find the problem that I still have yet he says nothing is wrong. I am having complications after the colonoscopy. He wouldn't answer my questions. He said to stop emailing him and if I have an emergency to go to the hospital.

He would’nt give me the time of day after 1 hour
Having a 4:45 app and waiting till 5:50 and preparing 6 pages of notes, he was only interested in filling out his computer medical survey form andnot even taking any time or courtesy to discuss my case with him. He acted in a rude, discourteous and patronizing manner and as a 77 year old former middle school teacher I would not expect that kind of behavior from a 14 year old. It seemed all he was interested in was saying we need a colonoscopy and endoscopy before i can even prescribe anything for suspected IBS-D. It seemed just a money making scheme where he had to make his quota of expensive procedures. I waited a month to see him and was treated with complete disrespect and unprofessionalism. I’ writing this to save others from a completely horrific experience. What ever happened to the hippocratic oath?

Lack of compassion was glaring. Not the Dr to see if you're having liver issues!!! He's better suited to colonoscopys. Wife was retaining fluid due to liver issues and he Sent us home with diuretics. Did not recommend draining fluid and as a result her left lung filled and collapsed after draining at the hospital. Thankfully we found the right Dr's at Manhasset liver center. TIPS procedure has been quite successful. Dr Gabbazadeih and his staff have yet to even call and see if my wife survived. Horrible all around.

Bad! Just bad! He doesn't seem to care about patients. It seems like he's just in the medical field for the money. Do yourself a favor and see someone else.

If I could give this doctor 0 stars, it would be more accurate than 1 star. I was completely and entirely appalled with the "care" I received from this apathetic excuse of a health care provider. When I got an unexpected result from my endoscopy, he took 45 whole seconds to give me a bare minimum explanation of what my ailments were while I was still foggily waking up from anesthesia. I am also writing this review on behalf of my mother; who just received a diagnosis of advanced cirrhosis. Dr. Gabbaizadeh was unavailable to speak with any family members for days on end in regards to this serious and often times fatal diagnosis. When my mother was discharged from the hospital, Dr. Gabbaizadeh was listed as her GI doctor, when we tried to schedule a followup appointment with him, he refused to acknowledge that my mother was a patient of his. Anyone who avoids this doctor like the plague that he is will be doing themselves a huge favor. Trust the 1 star reviews on this website.

This was my first visit and I told Dr Gabbaizadeh that I was there because I had significant pain for several weeks and it only subsided a week or so ago. I also had nausea, weakness & exhaustion. I had moved up a cardiac visit and was told that it was not a cardio problem and that it is probably a gastric problem. A year ago I was in the ER for similar problems. Six months prior to the ER I had hemorrhagic gastritis and mild erosive esophagitis. I also have diverticulosis and have had gastrointestinal problems all my life. At the end of the visit, the doctor said keep making some lifestyle changes and I’ll see you in a year. Did I miss something ?? See me in a year. I am looking for some help here, I think he missed something. I could have just waited a year and saved my time, his time, and the expense to the insurance. What kind of a doctor is he ? Unconcerned.

I wish all my doctors were as thorough and caring as Dr. Gabbaizadeh. I had a poor experience with another doctor where the prep for the colonoscopy did not work. Dr. Gabbaizadeh told me he doesn't use that prep because it is not strong or thorough enough. He warned me that the prep he was prescribing for me would taste awful but works the best. He also prescribed an anti-nausea medicine to help tolerate it. I really liked that he is a straight shooter and I appreciate his thoroughness.

I came to Dr. Gabbaizadeh In a very bad flare up of my Ulcerative Colitis. He ran tests, changed medications and in a few months time I am feeling 100 percent better! At each office visit he takes time to listen and assess in detail my condition. My life is back to normal thanks to him!

Visited Dr. Gabbaizadeh after prolonged stomach pain that went untreated/undiagnosed by numerous doctors. He helped identify the problem, thoroughly explained it to me in a way that made sense and gave me steps to treat. He was extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend him!
