Expert In His Field
Dr. Doward was very friendly and gave me a clear explanation of the source of my pain using my x-rays and the model spine in the exam room. He promptly gave me several options for treatment, among them physical therapy. I will attend physical therapy and look forward to my follow-up visit.

Aloof!

Dr Doward was recommended by My Dr. for steroid injections. I have had a lot of neck pain. Dr Doward did not say one single word to me. His staff readied me for the injection. I did not feel the liquid from the steroid injection enter into my back. I received no pain relief whatsoever. I have had many injections. Although the injections don't last long, I have always received relief. My Doctor recommended that I go for a second injection. Like a Fool, I went for the second injection. I had no relief from the second injection at all. You are only allowed to receive 3 injections a year. Still in pain I am looking for a compassionate Dr. that knows what he is doing. I would not recommend Dr Doward to my worse enemy!!

Revolving door of patients
Been a patient since 2021. Each visit has been faced with rude or cold front desk and medical assistants, and a rushed doctor. I researched my diagnostic results for weeks leading up to my appointment and it felt like he didn't have the time to spend really reviewing the results. Doctor was off put by my questions. Feel like he's not listening and just wants to do injections.

A brilliant Doctor. Understands where the pain originates. Very patient. Not chatty but will answer questions so that’s ok.

Horrible bedside manner. He was on phone when I walked in procedure room for injections and didn't even acknowledge me. During initial appointments, he rushed through and seemed annoyed when I tried to ask questions.

I was not happy at all with this doctor. MRI showed a few small bulging discs and arthritis. He was dismissive and gave me no time to ask questions. He told me to lose weight and sent me to therapy again, which is fine. I know my weight doesn't help matters, but I don't think that's all that's going on. Still in pain and looking for another doctor.

Dr was dismissive of my injury. Blew off the fact that I heard and felt my muscle tear. Said I had some age related degenerative muscle issue based on X-ray- X-rays don’t show muscles. Was in a hurry to get to next patient. Commented on how I wouldn’t need surgery.

Not happy with this doctor and will not be coming back. I’ve seen him twice. I felt uncomfortable. Seemed like he didn’t care or was interested. Didn’t talk to me during my steroid injection procedure. Very impersonal. I cried when I left his office.

I highly recommend Dr. Doward. He is a great doctor! In addition, his PA and nurses are excellent as well. Dr. Doward and his staff LISTEN. After having 2 years of pain, after 3 visits, I am well on my way to a non-surgical recovery.
