Dr. Damrich performed my second c-section. Unfortunately this was an emergency c section as my doctor was out of town. I found him to be dismissive of my concerns before surgery. After the surgery, I will was mortified to find that he and the other doctor stitched me up with staples. My first c section the doctors used sutures. I’m not sure why he chose staples...possibly because sutures take longer and he had somewhere to be. Anyhow, after the birth he did not come check on me in a timely manner and gave the nurses the go ahead to take out my staples 2 days post op before he even looked at my incision. 3 days after being at home, my incision ripped and I went back to see my doctor. She confirmed that the staples were taken out too early and used sutures to close my incision. Now I’m left with a scar that is 2x the size it was before. If Damrich has to perform your c section be sure to ask for sutures. I am thankful that my baby girl was born safely.

I became a patient of Dr. Damrich about 10 years ago after moving here from out of state. The 1st 4-5 years, were wonderful. He & his RN were great, & appeared to truly care about my health. It seems that in the last 4 years though, I just feel like a number being herded through their system. From the time I enter the lobby, (the office staff is not very friendly/professional) acting as though I'm interrupting their day, until I leave after seeing Dr. I feel like another # for them.
