I was a patient of Dr. Cozzi for several years. I wish he hadn't left Mercy, but understand as the patient care there has changed dramatically. He truly took good care of me, took time to talk with me about my health issues, and never rushed me. I am a non compliant patient, I will admit, but he was always honest and treated me with respect in regards to what was going to help me get better. I now seem to have doctors who rush me in and out and don't have the same patience as Dr. Cozzi.

He started me on my path to a (life) of prescription medications., without out real data/facts/lab testing to truly diagnose me correctly. If your gastroenterologist has never heard of bacterial infections (ex. M.A.P.), do not let them diagnose you with crohn's disease. The medication the doctors prescribe will severely worsen your condition. I have reverted to only natural meds for a year-and-a-half now and feel wonderful compared to the 7 year nightmare I experienced at this place of practice.
