This doctor does not communicate with you much. When being asked a question, he got angry and impatient in second. Never seen something like this. Not sure because he did not know the answers or because he thought patients should not ask questions. Painful and weird experience. Never seen a doctor behaving this way.

Dr David Chu was my mother’s Hospitalist at Overlake Hospital. During his daily visits he was brief and dismissive. When asked questions about health concerns and test results, he was irritated, upset. Had an attitude, started shaking and raised his voice and yelled! Extremely unacceptable and concerning behavior for a doctor! Prescribed the wrong antibiotic for my mom and after consulting with my mom’s urologist and on insistance he changed the antibiotic with the right one. Sadly I think Dr. Chew has psychological problems and needs anger management and stress control classes. I do not recommend Dr.Chu! He should change his profession! He’s not kind, patient and has no compassion for people!
