Horrible Bedside Manners
I was referred to emergency to get a CT scan after a head injury. Sadly Dr. Cataquet was the attending doctor. He was so rude and arrogant. I left the hospital without any treatment. When I checked my Mychart this doctor had a slew of notes of my ‘treatment’ and how I agreed a CT scan wasn’t necessary. I find this very interesting as he didn’t even bother checking me.

Was sent to the Er from urgent care for appendicitis. Doctor was very thorough and told me he thought I had a colon infection and would need a cat scan. He was right. I relieved to go home with antibiotic. Great job explaining the process

Awful doctor
He don't listen my concerns about my kid and never pay attention to her problem while she was super dehydrated and net peeing and drinking or eating but he discharge her and said to me that she fine not dehydrated because i can see a tear in her eye so she is fine .without any blood work or urine test he discharge.

Aweful... Just Aweful. Dr. Cataquet was mean and uncaring. I tried to tell him the symptoms and he was dismissing. I tried to ask nicely and eventually walk out AMA. You don’t want to see me?? I don’t want to be in the hospital if I don’t have to either. how about you do your job?? Not hard..... I went to another hospital instead and got much better care. Stay away from him

My son came in with a headache and blurred vision for over week. We had left another hospital for the same 2 d prior where he was seen by a specialist and had an MRI. The doctor listened to me and examined my son and the recommended a spinal tap. I was afraid but agreed. And THAT finally gave us an answer as to what was going on. We were transferred to another hospital and saw a neurosurgeon who explained what had to be done to help my son ( the pressure of his spinal fluid was too high)

We went to CityMD in Paramus and met Dr. Cataquet to discuss the situation of lower blood pressure. When Dr. Cataquet came in and did not allow us to talk or ask questions, he call 911. He was so nervous and did not like doctor. I told him that I can drive patient to ER as needed. He did not care. In ER, they did not do anything and let patient go home. We are afraid to see Dr. Cataquet anymore. Do not just walk in if you do not know who is doctor.

Urgent Care W. Caldwell. As I waited I could hear the front desk assistant speaking loudly and using much profanity to describe a patient who had just called asking about their medical records. They used the patients name with complete disregard to the privacy of the patient. The doctor allowed this to go on and did nothing. When Dr. Cataquet finally met with me he was rude and dismissing. I told Dr. Cataquet what I heard and his response to me was, Well this is real life and people curse.
