Best quality of care I have ever received..

After a few months of pain in my hamstring and seeing Dr. Carfagno, having several different MRI’s, I was trying to schedule an injection via ultrasound for my pain. After the scheduling the first time, I was called and told the ultrasound tech couldn’t be there that day and had to reschedule. Was called a second time and told that wasn’t going to work either. Third time scheduling got cancelled two days before my appointment. Now I’m starting all over with a different doctor, too frustrating.

I had the luxury of being able to shadow Dr. Carfagno and seeing how he interacts with patients. Dr. Carfagno is meticulous in his way of screening his patients. He listens to his patients' concerns and does an excellent job of explaining every detail of any procedures that are being performed, as well as, detailing out every recommended next course of action for his clients. He truly is a patient advocate and communicates well with his staff so patients have the peace of mind of knowing that everyone on staff is on the same page and only has patients' best interest in mind. I would highly recommend Dr. Carfagno.

Dr. Carfagno is an amazing physician. He spent so much time with me answering all my questions and explaining his plan. He also has his dogs in the office which is AMAZING! His whole staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful. There was absolutely no wait time.

I have known Dr. Carfagno since he was a medical student. He was one of the best medical students I ever worked with, and he has turned into a top-notch sports medicine physician. He is a kind, caring, and thorough physician who spends time with his patients, treats them like his family, answers questions, and explains treatment plans and options for treatment in detail. As a surgeon, I deal with lots of physicians, and there are many qualified physicians in my health plan. I've been a patient of Dr. Carfagno's for 11 years. He is very attentive to his patient's needs and a person's wellbeing. He has a great " network" of physicians to call on if a referral is needed based on the condition. I've referred several friends to Dr. Carfagno over the years and they would agree with me that his care is superb.

Referred to Dr. Carfagno for weight reduction (need to lose 65 pounds to get Medicare to approve knee replacement surgery). Following his restricted carb version of the Mediterranean Diet, I have dropped 31.7 pounds in 44 days. I am overwhelmed by the results so far. Tracking carbs and severely limiting them on a daily basis WORKS LIKE GANGBUSTERS! The feedback & weekly tweaking of my meal planning are vital to my success. You don't have to be young or a sports athlete to go to this wonderful medical office. I'm 69 and had debilitating and back, rib and internal pain that several other physicians had been unable diagnose. At least 5 other physicians using a number of expensive exams had essentially recommended pain-management. Dr. Carfagno was able to diagnose the underlying cause for the pain and treat. Dr. C. and his staff also developed personalized recommendations to help manage potential future flair-ups.

Dr. Carfagno is an Awesome doctor! He takes the time with his patients and answered to all my doubts regarding my injury. He explained me such that I could understand what is wrong. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

About 8 weeks ago I injured my bicep and hoped that I had only torn the tendon, not ruptured it. After 3 weeks I finally sought out a medical opinion to determine the extent of my injury. Dr Carfagno and his staff were just terrific. They were able to arrange an initial appointment the next day, and after a quick assessment suggested that I obtain an MRI to assess the extent of the damage. The staff helped coordinate a MRI appointment and then provided a read out on the MRI..total rupture.
