Disappointing experience with this office
Dec 2024Update So after it took posting a negative to finally get this doctors office to call me back about this missing test. They attempted to make it right. Amy submitted a request for testing informing I was not to be billed for the test due to the errors. I was able to go back and get my testing completed. Here we are in December all of this originated back in August and they finally got back to me in October. I received a bill! And when I called the office which I was instructed to do, I was basically informed that since Amy no longer works there it is now my problem to deal with. They could see those commitments in my notes, and everything, even confirmed that it was there but it is still my problem to deal with....If this was going to be the case I wouldn't have gone and got this testing done in the first place! I will not be returning to this provider for any future services.Oct 2024: I have had three visits in the last year with this office and the first two went swimmingly

If I could give 0 I would
Very disappointing. Do not answer the phone, do not call back. Bottom line, they do not know what they are doing, do not care to look in detail at the patient's needs or have any concern for the health of the patient.

Paul Schmidt is an incredible PA. However, the office staff and operation overall has caused me to go elsewhere. I was misdiagnosed and mistreated by another PA, resulting in terrible pain for three months. They made no attempt to address the problem or get it right. It was not until I went to another provider that I received the treatment I needed and had the issue addressed. They don't answer the phone, they don't respond to portal messages, and they allow you to simply slip through the cracks. It's like communication stops at the front desk, and never gets to the physician. I've never seen or met Dr. Burrows, I get the impression he is mostly retired but his name is still on the practice. No one is running the ship, and it's a shame.

I decided to go with Dr. Burrows as he is close to our home. Upon meeting him, I wasn’t impressed. He appeared more like he belongs at a nightclub in Breckenridge than a doctors office. I ignored this first impression and went back to see him on several occasions. As it turns out, I should have listened to my first impression. The visits I've had with him were brief and with minimal assistance. I've left his office wondering what was actually done. I got the impression that he passed along every bit of work to his front office staff. Most recently, my visit with Dr. Burrows was for multiple injuries incurred from a bad accident & consequently some insurance paperwork to navigate through. He literally spent less than 2 minutes with me, patted me on the back and promised he’d help get me back to work as quickly as possible. My employer required insurance paperwork which he and his office staff did not want to fill out. After asking repeatedly for help, he reluctantly filled ou

I am an RN and quite choosy about my health care. Dr. Burrows and his PA Paul are superior. Dr. Burrows treated my husband who had Alzheimer's and eventually died. His caring and compassion for my husband was incredible. He treats me with respect, is willing to discuss things I have read in my research and is quite astute with coming up with diagnoses that are sometimes difficult. He quickly diagnosed my husband's heart attack some years ago and got us to a hospital by ambulance.

Dr. Burrows is my new primary care physician. I am very impressed with the office. Everyone is very pleasant. Yesterday, I met with Paul, the PA. I learned more from him in the hour that I spent with him than I have in the last 8 months with various doctors. I will return. I only gave 4 stars today because of the difficulty in contacting the office. I called 3 different times and was on hold for awhile and never did talk with anyone.

Telephone center sucks. Every time you call they have an excuse .You wait forever for some one to answer the phone. They NEVER call back. Tried to call in this past Monday and Tuesday 20 & 21st and no one ever answered the phone. When I called today they said they were there both days. I have been waiting for almost six now for a referral from the Doctors PA for an appointment call from the Hematologist, as write this I have received a call from Dr. Jotte's office. PA Paul misdiagnosed me. Even after I questioned whether I had the condition. He said welcome to getting old. I was VERY lucky not to die from my condition. He missed almost every warning sign I had and dismissed me as middle age. Stay away if you can at all cost. This was in 2015. My two girls almost didn't have their daddy and it has caused irreparable damage.

Dr. Burrows excels l in making insightful & accurate diagnoses covering a broad range of medical conditions. He is particularly up-to-date with the latest research and is highly regarded by the numerous specialists whom he has directed my wife and I to over a 10-year period. Most general practitioners may be fine for normal checkups and occasional maladies. But for difficult, serious and interrelated medical issues, I couldn't recommend anyone more highly than Dr. Burrows.
