Dr. Browning
Dr. Browing saved my sight in my right eye because of a retinal detachment in 2014. Now I see better than ever. I consider him one of the world's best ophthalmologists!

Excellence
I miss Dr. Browning, my doctor for 20 years. The day before my appt was when he was ousted or whatever. He was a man of character and excellence and I hope that he is happy and well wherever he is. He made a positive difference in countless ways. Even the negative comment is about the waiting room, not him, and should not be counted against him. He should get 10 stars. God Bless.

I am with a lot of other patients I’d like to know what happened to Dr. Browning and where if he still practicing I trust him with my putting injections in my arm and I really don’t want to go to anybody else

My experiences with Dr. Browning were always excellent. He absolutely saved my eyesight 25 years ago and was keeping them in great shape since. What the heck!! I will travel to see him if I have to. Please let me know where he is!!!

Best dr ever!!!!!
Knows his stuff. Diabetic for 40 years. People who trash him are looking for excuses to criticize. So sorry to see him go. If anyone know where he went please post. Love him!!!

What Happened To Dr. Browning?
Got notice that Dr. B was no longer seeing patients and I am devastated. He has been my doc for 27 + years. Last time i saw him I asked if he was retiring and he said he loved his work. Where did he go? I’ve been searching the internet and see nothing? HELP!! He has been a trusted physician in the area for decades and all his patients get is a text? Do better CEENTA!

My first visit to Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat was to see retina specialist David Browning on 6/16/20. Upon entering the 4th floor reception area and waiting room I was appalled at the lack of social distancing. The waiting room was crowded, chairs were touching each other with very few empty ones. Patients were required to wear masks however the doctors were not. Dr.Browning was NOT gloved, masked or wearing a face shield, all safety protocols recommended by The American Academy of Ophthalmology. I was particularly concerned when he was inches away from me using the slit-lamp without a face shield. I found the total disregard for patient safety egregious and shared my thoughts with the practice manager. His feedback was nothing but excuses. I have contacted the NC Department of Public Health in Raleigh as well as the Mecklenberg County Department of Public Health. I will not return to nor recommend this practice.

Dr. Browning was great! He takes time and listens to you and makes you feel so comfortable...I will miss him and his wonderful staff as I moved back to Arizona..
