Dr. David Brown, MD

Dr. Brown is very down to earth, personable and has a calming presence both in the office and the hospital. I had surgery for a hernia and stomach displacement. He is never in a rush and makes sure you understand things and that you ask any questions you have, which he answers thoroughly. I could not have asked for a better experience and level of care. He truly cares about his patients. I would recommend him 100% to anyone needing surgery that he can perform.

From the moment I stepped off the elevator, I was greeted with highly professional office personnel. I was made to feel comfortable from the very beginning. Those qualities carried through to the back office with the Nursing staff, which I found to be very professional and caring. My surgery is normally considered to be a day surgery. Mine however was extended to a 10-day Hospital stay due to some unexpected complications that developed. Complications that Dr David Brown was by no means responsible. Dr. Brown and his staff made sure that the care I received in the hospital was top-notch. When Dr Brown spoke to me about my condition and surgery, he was very thorough and made sure I understood exactly what he was telling me. This was very appreciated. Dr. Brown has gained my complete trust in his surgical abilities and knowledge. His office staff is accommodating and professional. Overall care is exceptional from his medical team. I would without hesitation recommend Dr David Brown.

Dr. David Brown with Columbia Surgical Specialists in Spokane, WN., is a very knowledgeable doctor who helped me recently with a hernia repair. I reported in to their surgical center on E. Cataldo and was treated well by all the staff. I woke from anesthesia with no difficulty or pain. At home I only took one pain pill and Ibuprofen twice, again no pain other than some background low grade aching. Here I am three weeks later and I am clear to exercise. Dr Raymond Lance recommended Dr. Brown to me saying he did quality work and uses up to date procedures. Dr. Brown used minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to do this procedure. Besides no pain and quality work, the real treat is the friendly staff (including the doctor) and how comfortable they made me feel with this procedure.

I had a Wednesday appointment to talk to Dr. Brown, he found a hernia then scheduled me the next day. Very professional office, everyone looked happy to be working there and a month later, I'm good as new. Thank you, Dr. Brown and staff

I highly recommend Dr. Brown. He was ablr to work me into his surgical schedule on a Friday so that I did not have to stay the weekend in the hospital in order to have the surgery on Monday. He is thorough explaining exactly what he is going to do and what I could expect. He takes the time to listen and is extremely personable. And what's even better is that the initial surgeon that saw me and couldn't do the surgery told me he would let him operate on him anytime. That speaks volumes!
