Gila County deserves better than Dr David Boesch
Poor. Saw this Dr today in the ER in Payson, az. A CT of my head and neck were ordered. When the results were back Dr Boesch tells me there was no arthritis in my neck which I knew to be untrue. Come to find out the radiologist had not reviewed prior images. When I requested a reread the Dr came into the room and at best engaged in mansplaning and then moved to use”bless your heart”. That is not a polite wish. It is the equivalent of telling someone to expletive deleted off. Very unprofessional and uncalled for, We are a smaller town…but the residents up here deserve better than this

Emergency Room Visit - 11/19/2023
On Sunday, 11/19/2023, I ruptured my right Achilles tendon. My spouse took me to Banner Gateway's emergency room. After approximately 2 hours, we were placed in a room & waited approximately 30 more minutes to be seen by Dr. Boesch. Initially, Dr Boesch stated that I did not rupture my right Achilles tendon. After reviewing the tendon area again, Dr. Boesch stated that I may have ruptured the Achilles tendon from the calf muscle and I should see an orthopedic surgeon asap. The time with Dr. Boesch took less than 5 minutes, he prescribed a pain reliever and gave me crutches. I met with my orthopedic surgeon and my surgeon asked me why I was not wearing the walking boot issued by the emergency room. I stated that Dr. Boesch did not provide a walking boot. My surgeon was surprised that the emergency room doctor to not provide the walking boot. My surgeon issued me a walking boot to use until my surgery to reattach the tendon. I will not return to the emergency room at Gateway.
