Dr Benditt was my doctor providing care for me on July 29th 2024. I was diagnosed with POTS, back in 2018 when I was 16 years old.On July 29th, I had a EKG done, only while laying down and then standing for 5 minutes. I was then told I “didn’t have POTS” and left in tears with no further explanation. I was then rediagnosed 3 times in the coming months with POTS, which i’ve had, and still have... Without further question. On July 29th, I was told I didn’t have the diagnosis that I’ve been battling with almost my whole life and with no further care. I am emailing to share how his care should be questioned by some.

MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION
Fantastic Cardiologist. I have had my problem of passing out for over 20 years. Other Doctors could only solve part of problem. Went to Mayo Clinic - they ran many test but did not solve why I kept passing out. Dr Benditt solved my problem. I no longer pass out. He explained everything.

Dr Benditt saved my life in 1984. I was 35 years old mom of 4. Came to UM hospital from upstate New York with RT V-TAC and was successfully treated without medicine to this day. At age 71 I am celebrating 38 years of grateful appreciation and gratitude to Dr Benditt, the staff and hospital for my life, For which I have been over 30 years in fitness and wellness, 25 of them as Personal trainer and Fitness studio owner. My clients range from age 20 - mid 80’s. The workouts are functionally based.... calisthenics, strength and flexibility. I remember Dr saying “ most illness originate in the brain... so I teach my clients that exercise originates in the brain! Thank you Dr Benditt. Barb McGuire

He solved my problem of why I kept fainting. He includes me in the decisions of my treatment plan and explains everything in terms I can understand.

Poor and unsatisfactory medical services. It is expected that a person is given good care and treated respectfully at the clinic. But contrary to this, Dr. Benditt was not at all attentive to my needs or complaints. He disregards other medical professional views and or advice. He berates patients as he did me. This type of service and behavior is not at all what I expected from a reputable physician. I would NOT recommend him to anyone ever.
