Dr. Barzilai is an excellent provider. I have seen him for years. He used to dictate notes, but I could always tell he provided detailed assessments and cared about me. He is intelligent and easy to talk to. I like the way he manages my conditions and enjoy seeing him. Now that he has a scribe in the room, it's even better, with great one on one focus while still comprhensively assessing me. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Barzilai for over five years. His credentials are impressive MD, PhD, from great schools and completed with highest honors. I had my last exam in October 2020. It was comprehensive as always. The doctor is very good when it comes to answering questions. He is now using a scribe instead of a dictaphone. I believe this is a plus as it is less distracting, thus enhancing communications. Wilbraham, MA

I've been seeing Dr. Barzelai for YEAR'S, I Love him, yes, he dictates into his recorder but that's so he can remember what he told each person. I've gone to him about my Excema and Mole checks, he's the nicest dermatologist I've had, Normally they were jerks with no bedside manner whatsoever, I'm sticking with him! ??

This was the worst Dr.'s visit I've ever experienced! The nurse told my daughter and I that he had a PA shadowing him and a transcriber with him....we said okay. When he came in he stood in front of us never sat down spoke into his recorder while the transcriber was taking notes?? I couldn't tell if he was speaking to us or leaving notes for him self? Most questions that were asked had no definitive answers said that we should see an allergist. Approximately 10 minutes and another co-pay for wasted time and no real answers. I would never ever recommend this doctor!

He did not address the problem I had with hair loss to my satisfaction. I had to wait 2 months to see the dr. My hair is still falling out at an alarming rate and he said there was nothing he could do. He did spend a lot of time not looking at me but dictating his notes. He said he would write down my condition and never did. I think I was in such shock over the lack of concern for my condition, that I was unable to ask any questions. I will be seeking a second opinion in CT.

This was the worst Dr visit I have ever had. I went for a hair loss problem. The exam lasted 10 sec, followed by 20 min of Dr Barzilai dictating and recording notes. I found this very creepy. At the end, he said there is nothing he can do about my hair loss and let me go. Recording notes about my professional life and health unrelated things was very bizarre and the Dr came across as very incompetent to me.

Dr Barzilai spends more time dictating medical notes into his recorder than he does examining his patient.
