Dr. Balch was everything you could ask for in a surgeon. He always made time for a thorough explanation and for any questions I had. After waking up with a colostomy bag due to an emergency surgery from a ruptured colon, Dr. Balch gave me hope that It was likely temporary. He was right. Six months later he performed a perfect reversal surgery and I am grateful to be returned to health, without a bag! Every step of the way, from the first night in the ER, to the second surgery and thereafter, he informed me of what happened, what is happening, and what to expect in the future. He is rightly confident and skilled. Awesome!
