Dr. Darshana Kittur, MD

Dr Kittur was extremely rude. She did not allow my husband to enter after the first visit (even the Kaiser policy allows one support person to enter). She always kept spouse out of the room as he had valid questions and she appeared not wanting to address questions from him. She was not bothered. Our baby ended up having in wrong position and she rushed through appointments. At the end she was not available, and all the sessions were with midwifes. It was a nightmare experience with Kaiser this time. Kaiser, please do something regarding her. We hope and pray that our fate must not happen for others.

She is very rude, and I always feel rushed through my appointments. She gives misleading information. My first appointment I wanted to change birth controls from the pill to the IUD and she told me I was not able to because I have not yet had any kids and the IUD would cause heavy bleeding for me. About a year later, I come back for an appointment and I had high BP and she told me that I had to stop the pills and start another birth control. One of the forms of birth control that she suggested to me was the IUD, I let her know that at my last appointment she told me I was not able to get it and she shrugged it off and said she did not say that. She was very rude after that, giving me short answers like she has somewhere better to be. She does not care about her patients. I immediately switched to a new doctor and she is amazing. I highly do NOT recommend Dr. Kittur.

Dr. Kittur is beyond rude and does not have any business taking care of patients. My daughter is not overweight what so ever. She is a normal sized young adult. My daughter has a broken arm and when she was having problems scooting down the table the Dr made the comment well maybe if you lost some weight. Then said she had to do a mandatory STD test when she came in for a Birth Control change for bleeding issues. Then refused to give her the birth control and told her she probably had cancer, and is she lost weight her bleeding would stop. Kaiser employing these kind of doctors has become more than ridiculous, one would be better off going to the Animal hospital than being treated by this doctor.

Dr Kittur does not know how to connect with patients and does not care about her patients. She is rude and ruthless. My went had miscarriage but she did not even bother to care. DO NOT CHOOSE HER AS YOUR OB/GYN.

From the moment we encountered Dr.Kittur in the hospital room she was incredibly rude. She falsely accused my ( wife who was in labor) of having COVID-19 without a test being administered. When the test came back negative She didn’t even apologise and had another doctor take over care. As a first time parent, she absolutely ruined our first childbirth experience.

Dr Kittur was such a breath of fresh air coming from Kaiser Pleasanton (where I did not have a good experience). She is amazing! So sweet, kind, genuine, thoroughly answers all your questions and makes you feel very comfortable. She doesn't let time get in the way and will take the time to get down to the root of the any problem. I am so happy to have her and I would HIGHLY recommend her to other patients. I feel very comfortable and well taken care of under her care.
