No problem with Dr Appleton himself but, I can't make an appointment to see Dr. Appleton. I have a simple follow up appointment and I'm 6 months out-- could probably be done on the phone or telemed. I waited on hold for 25 minutes. Don't use placeholder feature-- they don't call back.

I arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment, and pre-registered prior to my arrival. I waited 35 minutes before I was called back. Dr. Appleton arrived in the room shortly after. He didn't seem to have my chart with him and did not go over my progress or my lack of progress. The questions my husband and I asked weren't answered and one of our concerns was vaguely addressed in the hallway as I had to stop him so my husband could ask another question. This was my second visit. My first visit was only different in how long I had to wait. I thought maybe it would change after my first visit as more time would have passed and he would have more to look at in regards to progress or needing to improve. I am currently looking for a new cardiologist.

I have seen Dr. Appleton twice now for my annual check-up since having a quadrupal by-pass in 2009. My previous cardiologist retired two years ago and I was recommended to Dr. Appleton. He is so thorough and explains what is happening with my heart and recommended the DASH diet for BP & weight loss. I appreciate that he cared enough to listen to my concerns about my weight. Highly recommend!
