Dr. Darren Hyatt, MD

Dr. Hyatt administered my anesthesia and did a phenomenal job. Not only did he have excellent bedside manner, but he also did a wonderful job helping me understand what to expect during an emergency surgery from a traumatic accident. Thank you again, Dr. Hyatt!!!!!

This anesthesiologist is brutal, inhuman, and does careless work. He injected me with an extremely painful drug without injecting adequate lidocaine or Versed first. I have had the anesthesia drug many times and never felt anything until Darren Hyatt was in charge of my anesthesia. I was told that my IV came unscrewed, and the doctor tried to inject lidocaine, but it leaked out all over the sheet, so I had nothing to numb the extreme burning of the second drug. I was literally screaming in the operating room. If he knew the lidocaine (numbing agent) was leaking onto the sheets, why didn't he step back and rethink his next move? He told me it was going to be painful, and I told him I had never had pain before, so why? He chuckled with a misogynistic look at me. Believe me, this man doesn't belong in the OR. He is much too abusive.
