Dr. Darren Andrade, MD

My husband went here for heartburn and told the doctor that he has had reactions to all of the heartburn medications previously prescribed to him. They immediately sent him for an endoscopy which ended up costing us a massive amount of money. After receiving the results from the endoscopy, they put him right back on the medication that he explicitly told them he has reactions to. Not only that, they wanted to schedule him for ANOTHER endoscopy in a very short amount of time. It is very clear when you go to this facility that it is a BUSINESS not a medical facility. It is a constant revolving door of patients coming in and out for these procedures. They do not care about the well-being of their patients, and simply want to schedule as many procedures they possibly can in order to obtain the most money from you. We will NEVER use them again and I strongly advise you to stay far away. Save your money and find another doctor who cares about actually helping you and not just about the money

For starters Dr. Andrade treated me at St. Mary's Hospital at a different practice by my house. His advice and handling was so good I followed him to Princton and PGA. He recommended a Colonoscopy because I didn't have one in 12 years plus an Endoscopy. I have had these procedures in the hospital in the past with not much of a good experience . But my experience with Dr. Andrade on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 15. A+++++ staff to start with. Sonny the guy who had help me from the beginning was always available for questions. Like, I ask a lot of question and he always answered my calls. For a rough procedure it was a great experience. I felt like I was in and out with a lot of care. From the prep right up to the calming music Dr. Andrade had on before the procedure. Everything was relaxing and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Andrade and his staff.

Saw Dr. Andrade for an awkward GI issue. First time there, and office was warm, welcoming, and understanding. Doctor was friendly, professional, and informative. Explained every step of his exam, i.e., what he was doing and why. He recommended treatments, explained thoroughly and completely. So easy to talk to him. I plan to see him now for all my GI needs and will highly recommend him to family and friends.

I have seen Dr. Andrade twice now and he has consistently been a poor listener. He doesn't like to explain anything, and definitely does not like to receive or answer any questions. I think he decided what he wanted to say before even hearing me speak. Finally, he seems to really dislike his job and dislike patients.

I was referred to him because of extreme anemia, he was very thorough and discovered a cancerous tumor in my colon. He saved my life. ???? I have since sent my mom, siblings and husband to him for colonoscopies.

Dr. Andrade is wonderful, personable, and very pleasant bedside manner. Performed emergency endoscopic surgery for a food impaction on me and I was so at ease. It will be repeated in a month by Dr. Andrade. Boy, I just can't say enough about him. He is very similar to my primary care doctor and what a plus to have two wonderful doctors.
