Rude
He is very rude and disrespectful. He came in with an attitude. Didn't want to listen to nothing I had to say and basically told me I was lying. I walked out and scheduled a visit with my PCP. I was sent here by referral.

Finger surgery
I injured my middle finger to include down to my nail and Dr. Hitt's staff was able to get me in quickly. The staff was so nice to me and helped me understand what was happening. The doctor was straight forward and let me know this injury required surgery. I was nervous about where the surgery would be and a lot of unknowns as this was my first surgery. His nurse was really nice and patient with me and explained a lot to me. The surgery went well and I am so happy!

Dr. Hitt treated a family member after a complication from a dog bite which required IV antibiotic intervention, hospitalization and surgery. He got us in immediately same day and took extreme caution in treatment, explained everything and followed up after to ensure everything was okay.

DON’T! Just don’t. It is my professional opinion (OR Nurse) and personal opinion after receiving his care that he is the worst surgeon in the city. I have more then enough proof including expert opinion reports that I can show ANY and EVERYONE that support my opinion of him. If you are referred to him, I implore you to find someone else immediately. Or suffer his consequences

His bedside manner is very rude, pompous, and disrespectful. I suffered a post op infection, in which he Denied was actually an infection even on my medical records- but I had fever and puss coming out of my incision and it came open due to pressure of the swelling and infection. I am terribly disappointed in the care I have received, including being blamed and ridiculed.
