dishonest billing I brought my daughter in for her 18 month wellness visit, and asked Dr. Egues to look at a small splinter in her foot. After Dr. Egues poked at the splinter for about 10 seconds, she pushed it in too far in to remove. Of course, this is pretty normal for a small splinter, and Dr. Egues said it would work itself out naturally. A couple months later I noticed my insurance reflected a claim for "Surgery" and I received a bill for "incision and removal of a foreign body subq," in the amount of $295, as well as a 25 minute outpatient visit for $323. These were in addition to the normal wellness visit claims that were covered by insurance. I have not been able to get anyone to explain to my how Dr. Egues's efforts in pushing a splinter into my daughter's foot constitutes Surgery, or why they double billed the visit as both a wellness visit and a 25 min outpatient visit.

Dr. Egues' office is neat and tidy. The staff are all kind professionals who remember each patient. The wait times vary and are sometimes long, but I don't mind waiting. Dr. Egues is one of the best doctors I've come across. Dr. Egues is attentive and caring with my children. She takes the time to truly listen to my concerns which is rare these days. She keeps us informed and helps us make educated decisions regarding our children's health. I know my kids are in excellent hands under her care.
