Dr. Darin Buschmann, MD

Dr. Bushmann has been my primary doctor for over 20 years and he’s the best ever! Very caring and I feel so comfortable with him. Whenever I need a referral for a Specialist he has recommended some good ones.

I researched new doctors and this doctor was 5 stars. I had high hopes for him because of the high ratings. I had an injury back in April where I ripped my hamstring tendons off my pelvis. After I fell I asked for something for the pain and automatically he said anti-inflam, had he checked my chart he would see I can't take that medication. I let it go but I have been in serious pain, 6 while standing and 8 when sitting, It feels like I am sitting on a ball. Well, I need surgery and again I asked for something for the pain, this time he gives a opioid. Then he cancels it bc I was forthcoming on a medication I take now. I used to take opioids but came off of them so I take a med and he cancels the prescription. Not only cancels it but CALLS the pharmacy TWICE to make sure they did not give it to me. Then LIES about it, saying it was the pharmacy who canceled, I called the pharmacy they confirmed it was the doctor canceling. His lying just destroyed my confidence in him as a provider.

Originally happy with Dr. Buschmann. But when I really needed to see him for actual health symptoms, his Optum office would say he’s unavailable and direct me to a NP. I need lab tests to check for infection but I’m not permitted to go into the office because of cold-like symptoms. I tested negative for COVID but they still wouldn’t allow me to see the doctor or anyone else in the office. Found another doctor outside of Optum who confirmed walking pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics during a single short office visit. Whether my experience is specific to Dr Buschmann or the Optum group, I don’t know, but I can say that managed care is not preventive care; rather, it’s care prevention.

Very happy with Dr. Buschmann, he’s very professional and always taking his time with the patients, very attentive and trying to figure out the problem that bothers you. He’s ok with you asking him as many questions as you have, he’s not rushing you out of the office or FaceTime these days. Thank you Dr. Buschmann!

Extremely competent, caring, patient and listens to you. He doesn't rush through any exam or procedure. Easy to talk to and never talks down to you. I also appreciate the time he takes to explain anything or answer questions you may have.

Called as a new patient, told it will be a 35-40 day wait to see the doctor. What is even the point? Fix your situation. I'll be better or dead in that time frame.

He had no compassion for me and has a very cold bedside manner.I went in for something and insead of caring for my situation, he made it all about him.I am switching doctors for sure.

I was a patient (moved out of state) for over 7 years. He is professional, caring,considerate & very knowledgeable! I dealt with different health issues from migraines to now Fybromalgy, Dr. Bushman listens to his patients & recommends different treatments & medications until youfind the best approach for you. He referred me to a Neurologist, Rheumatologist & a pain specialist who all had the same/similar treatment & medication recommendations as Dr. Bushman. I highly recommended him!!

Dr. Buschmann takes time to listen and to fully explain your options. He does not rush you through the appointment. His staff is also first rate. He sees you when you have your appointment with little wait time. Both are becoming increasingly rare. I haven't had a physician I like and trust as much since my pediatrician when I was a kid.
