I previously had my right hip replaced by Dr Ong at Rothman, and was disappointed that he would not be available to do my left. I was assigned to Dr Ponzio and could not be more happy with the results. Minimal pain, fast healing, beautiful incision….I will be 100% in short order. Dr Ponzio and her team are all top of the line, use them and love the results like me!

as a fellow physician you certainly pick up on certain things. First impression was caring, confident, and she quickly put me at ease, as this was my first elective surgery. Right hip was replaced, same-day surgery, and I was home by 3:30 in the afternoon checking my daughter's homework. Minimal pain, getting around with only light assist using a walker. Able to get in and out of bed, up and down off of my chair without any one helping me. I am super excited that I had the surgery. a recent study in PubMed states that female surgeons have better postoperative outcomes! I like the sound of that!

Dr Ponzio and her team are fantastic.Both my left and right hips needed replacement. She was exceptional in explanation of diagnosis, bedside manner, and most importantly surgical procedure itself.. Every aspect from care, accommodation, procedure and office follow up has been wonderful.One year later, my health is so much better, and I have nothing but respect for the attitude and performance of Dr. Ponzio. I would highly recommend her..

I was involved in an impact with a car on a bicycle back in August of 2022 and need a new hip due to what happen and Dr. Ponzio did an awesome job doing the work. And was especially good with explaining the follow up and what I needed to do to make sure I healed well.

Dr. Ponzio was the third doctor I consulted with for hip replacement. She put me at ease, took time to review the x-ray and explained my situation. Her skill is amazing. I had another Rothman doctor tell me he would let her operate on him because she is that good. I’m two weeks post op and I’m doing amazing. The staff at the surgical center is also very caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Ponzio My pain is gone and I’m walking again without a limp.

Dr. Ponzio is wonderful! She takes as much time with her patients as they require. She explains conditions and procedures well and answers all questions with a smile on her face.

I was on the fence about knee surgery. Probably because some days were more pain free than others. At our first appointment, Dr. Ponzio could sense my hesitation but allowed me to come to my own decision. That decision was not made at that visit. Dr. Ponzio gave me all the info I needed to choose on my own. It was after much thought, armed with the facts presented to me, that I have opted for surgery. At no time did Dr.Ponzio place any pressure on me one way or the other. For this I am grateful.
