Writing this on behalf of my grandmother. She has had one knee replacement, about 6 years ago, it should be redone along with the other knee but she doesn't want to go through the surgery again. She's needed support when walking distances for the past twenty years. Her pain & unsteadiness increased so she asked Dr. Mehlenbacher for a script for a rollator walker her response was no, b/c she hasn't fallen yet. Apparently prevention isn't important, but she would rather see her break a limb first.
