Dr. Danielle Hartwig, MD

Dr. Hartwig has been one of the few solid providers I know I can trust. I have several chronic illnesses, and she’s been invaluable. She doesn’t play ‘hot potato’ with my care, and it’s so helpful that I don’t have to worry that things won’t get done or will be unnecessarily passed on to another provider. When I need treatment(s) and care that involve specialists, she advocates for the care I need and coordinates with providers, home health, and even insurance appeals. She listens, provides feedback, and treats me with an emphasis on my own personal needs and goals. I highly recommend Dr. Hartwig.

Every time I have seen her, she has come off with a very judgmental attitude. The first time I had seen her, she didn't have much to say about the specific thing I had made the appointment for (shoulder issue) and was more worried about my prescription and drug testing. She came off very accusatory and it felt like she was insinuating I wasn't being truthful. It was not a good experience at all. I have also gotten my bloodwork done multiple times and she never has anything to say even though my horrible symptoms have lined up exactly with my bloodwork. I do not understand becoming a doctor and acting as if patients are bothering you. They say you need to be your biggest advocate and this is in fact true when seeing her.
